OFFICIAL USRCCA Judges Test

Stupid mistakes but I guess it's better to make them here than in a comp.

Thanks for the great tool.

I will be studying more and going for 100%

Awesome Test!"thumbsup" Well thought out! Tricky if you dont pay full attention to the wording. I got a 94% first time through. I suggest everyone take this. It will teach most of us a thing or two.

Stepping on a gate is consider a penalty in the quiz. Positive that rule changed to where only vehicle causes penalty same as boundary now.

I learned a lot from this test and it actually answered a couple of the questions he had this past weekend. Thanks for making this available!

The next gate on a course is at the bottom of a big drop off. Rather than risk falling on to the gate the driver elects to jump his truck through the gate. During the jump attempt he does not touch the gate and successfully gets the front and rear tire from the same side of the truck between the gate markers, but not the opposite side. Whats the CORRECT call?

the correct answer says to give 10 points for this and give progress...

in this example at no point did they tough or go over a gate. SO IMO the correct answer should be no points no progress.

Am I wrong here?

The way I read it is that the truck landed side ways between the gate and never hit or made progess. Or do you read it as a straddle. Its just a little hard to read with out a pic.

reading it over a few times I understand it now but its a tricky question good job fish!!

I was inclined to call this a float rule violation. But the float rule says tire passes over a gate marker. In this Q, the tires could have passed outside the gate marker. Technically not the same thing.

The other examples that might apply all say "(straddled the gate)" in them, so they don't apply since the truck is in the air.

If he didn't float it, didn't straddle it, didn't hit it, why can't he loop around and drive through again?
