Official Chesapeake, VA beach, Suffolk Trail Run Thread

So is there any worthwhile terrain out there?

Sweet owl pic btw

Bo I honestly didn't get to explore like i wanted. Had the wife and kids. They got cold and well thats that. Its a beautiful place and I read that there is 20 miles of trail. I got to see about a mile. The trail we walked was basically completely like the pics show. Pine needles, roots, and trees. The trail is well beaten down. I didn't come accross any good hill climbs that weren't covered by thick pine needles, sticks, and leaves. If your rolling solo it would be a good place just to sight see. No good challenges for the rigs though that i found. Like i said though i only seen a small piece. I believe it would be worth a day of exploration though.

Miko and I are going to the Hellclimb tomorrow. Meeting up between 12:30 and 13:00. Bring rain gear and rubber boots, 100% chance of rain=100% chance of playing in the mud. "thumbsup"

We also talked about wheeling early Sunday morning, if anyone is interested let me know.

I might make it out to Ipswich Sunday, but let me know where y'all decide. Seashore is kinda meh, but try 145 Marshview Ave
Virginia Beach, VA 23451 it's also a good spot at the ocean front park at the tennis courts and directly across the street there's trails, creeks and big elevation changes. Use to ride dirt bikes and quads back there.

Looks like yall had fun. My son ans I went to the boneyard today for a little while. Burnt up a my motor in the Wroncho.

Popcorn for President!!!

I will be wheeling this upcoming weekend, in Michigan. :ror:

What is everyone doing for New Years, could we have a big get-together then?

I am planning on doing some wheeling around here the 28th or 29th, if anyone would like to make it a date.

T'was muddy, and awesome! You guys really missed out!

Hey, if any of you want a Wraith I will give you guys first crack at mine before I put it up elsewhere. It was a RTR, now runs brushless 4600kV castle 4 pole(its fast), has metal knuckles and links. I will sell RTR, ARTR or just as a roller. Only been run 10 times. PM if you are interested.

Yea you really need to! The 2nd and 3rd pics Miko posted are on a GIANT asphalt pile that has the most insane traction, as I am sure you can imagine. The lines the RCs can pull on that pile are epic.

They clobbered our normal dirt hill area there, however the whole place is different every time we go out so it's always something new/fresh.
