Official Chesapeake, VA beach, Suffolk Trail Run Thread

I dont have any more drive shafts. I have metal yokes but the plastic tubes all gave way to that overwhelming torque that the f-250 puts out.

:lmao: That's funny right there. I'm a bit surprised the tube didn't hold up, maybe the punisher tubes are vastly different than the Axial wild boar shafts. I have had good luck with those, same pair on the FJ since the day it was born. The rear one is pretty twisted, but still working perfectly.

I will deff be out there tomorrow though. (rain or shine) I have about 3hrs of batteries so I will probably be out there till round 6pm.

Like I said yesterday, I will come out if it isn't raining. I tore the FJ apart for some preventative maintenance after our run Sunday and it isn't up and running yet so I brought my other scaler to work today. My office is about 10, maybe 15 minutes away so I should be there just after 5. I will try to scoot out a few minutes early too.

Had one out Sunday. Need batteries that fit my hardcase lipos don't quite fit ended up throwing one out lol

What kind of rig is it your bringing in place of the honcho? Im buying a honcho from one of my buddies. Complete truck w/ radio and batteries for 175.00 Its hard to beat that.

I brought my homebrew truggy. I built it before I ever got my hands on a SCX-10 or anything like it. This guy is more about performance and less about looks, compared to the FJ. I'd say its near the performance of a honcho...except its got a big ol nasty V8 compared to the honcho's V6...if you catch my drift. ;-)

This body is a spare, normally it is blue. Threw the digicam on there for fun. :ror:

Yea that was my thoughts exactly. I'd be down to go out tomorrow or Friday though, weather should be better.

Next week we'll start DST, so more opportunities to get out on week nights before dark.

I've been working on my rigs. I'm heading to Bahrain friday for three months then retire thank God. Then maybe I can get back out there again.

sent from my wife's real husband that's battery powered and sometimes stays in her top draw.

See you when you get back. Be safe and have a good trip.
