Is it ok to use wd40 on rc cars? Seem to have some chirping noise coming from the front drive shaft where it connects to the front axle

I had the jeep upside down and haf the throttle in to get the wheels spinning. What would cause the front to not have a smooth rotation? There seem to stutter I guess you'd call it. The rear wheels spin nice and smooth(no stutter).

make sure your driveshaft pins face the same direction ie. the transmission side set screw is facing the same direction as the axle side set screw

Axle angle vs drive shaft

So far this seems to be it thou I can't figure out how to fix it. When I undo the lower forward link I can move the axle so it doesn't do it. All . I did was install the axial aluminum link kit

with the scx10 axles

I will have to mess around with making some links to get a good wheel base. Looks weird that long and narrow.

4 link or 3?
Does it do it right side up at all?

Went with the 4link setup. It does it right side up, thats now I first noticed it. Almost like the lower fwd links (6x98mm) are to long.

Now I do have some spacers. Wondering if adding those to the front upper links would do the trick? Thats what im going to play with this evening.

On a side note, the did made a full loop around the base at ft monroe(inside the moat along the top edge) we took the kids out there to walk around and the wife took some pics with her new camera.

Since y'all run your rigs thru/in water, what type of motor do you all run, brushed or brushless?

I've read that brushed is better and vice versa. Hoping to get my HH brxl esc in the next day or to and would like to narrow down the motor type(planning on a HH motor as well.

Thanks all for your thoughts and experience

Do you have a lift? Or longer shocks etc?

You need longer top links to resolve your binding issue or less suspension lift if you have that.

No lift, stock shocks. After reading 6sharky9's "stock scx10 performance" thread I'm going to try adding a spacer to the front upper links and see what that does
