I'd like to try half and half. I don't think we've ever done that as a group, but I think it would be awesome to get two completely different terrains in one day!

It would be great to have another rig or two, but this might be just the perfect amount. Too many rigs and we will be too slow, especially if we want to try some challenging lines.

First one to break their shit becomes camera bitch. :flipoff:

Seriously though, I have been on a lot of trail runs, both RC and 1:1 and in my experience having more than 4 or 5 rigs leads to a lot more sitting around than driving. That is ok sometimes, but it can be boring from time to time too.

The way I see it is like this:

1 rig - boring
2 rigs - move at blistering pace, get to drive plus watch the other rig a lot
3 rigs - still move at pretty fast pace, but spend less time watching others as you focus on moving down trail as to not hold up group
4 and 5 rigs - much slower pace, but manageable. Due to slower pace, able to watch rigs more on each obstacle.
6+ rigs - snails pace, inevitably there is always at least one rig that is stuck or broken. Eventually group breaks in half or people leave from extreme boredom.

And that is assuming that all the rigs are somewhat equal in capability, usually not as much of an issue in RCs as 1:1, but can be.

That said, it would be great to wheel with everyone one last time, but I am not oblivious to real-life shit.

If it is only 5 of us that want to carpool from the Hellclimb to Belle, I can carry everyone pretty comfortably in my truck. Wheeling just got more-affordable! :ror:

Miko you can check out my thread Searching for friends in Chesterfield and Va for photos of my course. And i will try to meet ya at Belles on Sunday if thats cool. I'm just a noob trying to learn.

So, thanks noel for the motor. Got it wired in to my wraith, its great! Thanks mike for the sensor wire! I ran it on a pretty weak battery and i still noticed that it was coggin a bit. No biggie tho. Its barely noticeable. A bit of tuning on the laptop and im sure im golden. I did zero out the timing on the motor tho. Not waterproofed but i know im splash resistant. I think ill save the yota for belle. Who knows. Ill play it by ear. But, again, thanks a bunch you two.
