No drag brake on my 1080.

Thanks, Oh, it is just a basic 540 silver can,, probably amongst the weakest variety. So that might (hopefully🤞) explain it !!! 😕 I had noticed the motor didn't have the strong magnetic phases when I turned it over by hand. Is it that magnetic🧲 effect that I need to have in a motor to get the drag brake to work ?? I will find a stronger motor & give it a try. Many thanks for your reply to me,:) I appreciate it. thanks(y) 💙
If you can easily push the car while there is no power to the motor, then you will also have a weak drag brake. Motor and gearing, like 89Industries said, both play a big part in this.

Big thank you to everyone 👍🏼, so I've learnt a lot over the past week 🙂. I now understand, much better, how the drag brake works. I've dug around in a very old RC box & found two old motors that have much better magnets.
One is a vintage Reedy Sonic A (green label) unknown winds, but the magnets are mega strong, and it's very fast!!! . i put it in my TT01e & it brakes real good on kitchen floor!!! 😄 I'll gear it away from top speed & adjust the 1080 when I get to some carpet 👍🏼🙂.
The other motor is a HPI firebolt 15t,, I'll be putting that in the F1, similarly geared & 1080 adjusted to calm it down 😅.
(I'm not good enough to handle either car at high speed, but both these motors give me good drag to learn with. 😄)
Thank you all for your very helpful replies 💙
