i have a set of traxxas big bores with the cap mod with mini cups that i will putting on it and will be putting some vp goodies on it anything i need to tackle first on the upgrades?

This is what I was saying, the obvious upgrades might already have been done i.e. inside the gearbox, upsizing the 8mm bearings, shimming the main gear etc.

Hey a new crawler in TN. If your interested in comping look up ETRC on here. We run comps and gtgs almost all year long. Great bunch of guys.

Good looking truck btw. I would definitely look in the gear boxes to see what you have. If they used the stock grease it has probably liquified and needs replaced anyway.

Thanks for info I have a ax10 fully built with all vp stuff including the chassis I'll look into the comp I've never done a comp or drove a rig with dig so alot of training is in the near future and alot of questions for y'all

i just ordered vp motor plates from rpp i had a credit sso i went ahead and put in for these. question about the vp bushing what are they for and where do they go?

Sounds like you hooked it up. Congrats on the find. It looks like you'll need to do almost nothing to your new baby. Enjoy!
