Hi all, as requested I will start my build thread. Unfortunately I do not have the truck yet as it is on order with LHS but I do have some of the parts I have ordered on line, I will update as I go.

Gmade wheels, hyrax tyres brass portal parts (some covers must still be in the post), servo horn, door hinges, fuel filler, light guards, nicer handles and screws, wheel hexes (longer and will be filed down as required)

Below are the carbon fibre battery skids mounts and the centralhardware mounting plate for radio gear and servos.

GMade wheels are excellent parts except in the finish of the paint which was chipped and had some swarf or something under it at some points. However the fitting screws, adaptor tool and studs really are nice.

Made a mistake and didn't realise you needed a big transformer for this particular charger so that's on order)

Do you have any old computer power supplies
laying around? Or unused Xbox power supplies? You could use that for 12v DC for the battery charger.

Thanks for the tip, it didn't even occur to me about that at first but I don't at the moment anyway. Pity as it would have saved me a bit of cash.

Thanks for trying to help 8)

Congrats on a TRX-4! Great trucks. One of the most fun scale crawlers for sure.

The tire and wheel combo looks great!

Those portal weights are extremely heavy - too heavy IMO. You will definitely have to add some weight to the rear in order to get the truck to dowhill with any consistency.

Sounds like I get to do some experimenting!! I can remove some of the pins if needed (I'll check the weight difference) I have some for the back as well so I can adjust the weight as needed. I'll heed the advice given on here about trying different things to see how it goes. Brass can always be machined easily too if I need to adjust.

Cheers

2nd last delivery of items... Just a charger tranny, battery tester / balancer and charging bag to come
