New RGT Adventurer with front mounted motor!

They're more comparable to other ring and pinion micros IMO

Right on. I've been a little hesitant on getting a 1/24. I got the Losi MRC when those came out and that was a pain. The binding issues were terrible. It mostly(still does) just sat on a shelf.

I may pickup the RGT and give 1/24 another shot. Would be nice if it out performed my nephew's Scx24 :lmao:
 
Is there any gear reduction in the separate transfer case?
Yes, some up front, some in the transfer case. I forgot the actual numbers when I counted the gear teeth, but overall it's a little less gear reduction than the stock HobbyPlus transmission which currently has the most reduction of ring and pinion non gear motor micros
