New Pro-line BFG KR2

I would love to see a replacement for the old flatirons, in 1.9 flavor. Preferably as a licenced tire like a km2. 4.19 x1.5, is my personal choice and to keep those comp guys happy.

Can we get some not gigantic km, km2 or atko2 1.9s or 1.55? Maybe 4.19 inches tall? Also, can we get some new narrower chisels or new competition tire at 5.4 or 5.5 inches tall? Any way keep making great tire.

What, not gigantic? We can do that.

If we were to release a not gigantic 1.9 tire soon and it did really well, then we can look into a 1.55 version to follow. This is a hypothetical scenario of course...

The 1.55 size so far has been a little too niche to convince us that we should start cutting steel for a new tire mold; persuade us otherwise and we'll make it.

How about making the bead like every other maufacturer. Not the triangle wedge shape. I cut the beads right off a set of the smaller sx swampers just buy running them in some Gearhead wheels.

While your at it, fix your beadlocks to a standard shape aswell. I wont run your wheels or your rubber because of it. Big fan of all the 1/8 and 1/10 racing stuff tho.

We totally get how our bead shape doesn't agree with all wheels. The bummer part is that the wedge shaped bead is so easy to mount into our wheels and it grips so securely with the extra material. Our wheels are generally accepting of other tires so maybe a slight change in tire bead shape could still allow them to mount well in our wheels and be much better in others.

Thanks for the input BurnLatex and while you're at it, keep up the discussion- the more we know the better your tires get.

Pit Bull was willing to make a 1.55 tire. I think Pro-line can do better. Prove me right. "thumbsup" We need a G8 tire for the TF2 and other smaller scale rigs out there.

I just ordered a set of 1.9's to try out on my dingo. And with the $25 gift certificate i won here, plus $8 off code, i feel like i stole em"thumbsup"thanks Tower!

1.55 would be awesome but like you said, not enough sales to make it worth your while.

A shorter 1.9 under the 4.19" range or just slightly taller would be great.

On another note, I made some 5.2" 2.2 from five 1.9 KR2. lol Cant wait to finish the build to test them out. Post #27 here.

Proline's compound is amazing and if they reduce the thinckness in their bead and release say some 4.5-4.6 KM2's/Krawlers/hell re-release the TSL with a thinner bead in a 4.5-4.6 range watch out. 8)

BFG KM2 4.40x1.65R1.9 Please. :D

Any makes the beads more friendly to other wheels.

Tires are working well for me. I was really impressed with how they hooked when it started to rain during the race.

Ready for some Pennsylvania mud...the spring season is almost here. I'm not sure how they are going to do given the tread pattern. Been running 1.9 TSL XL's that do great on the dirt/rock/mud combo we have around here. Got big shoes to fill!
