New Pro-line BFG KR2

What foam is everyone running in the 2.2s?

I cut a dueces Wild down a bit and cut the inside of a stock axial foam to make a tight fit wrap around the ci and they mounted up on my methods super easy. It's on my bomber crawls good nice flex in tire and minimal pizza cutter. 3000kv on 4s.

I've got the CI tall deuces wild foams in mine. They fit good, if not a little tight.. but once everything breaks in I think they will be great. Maybe not great for pure crawling, but thats not what these foams are meant for.

Pretty much what I was wondering standard or tall deuce wilds. Guess I got my answer. the standards are loose on my growlers so I guess they would be really loose on these.

Got mine ready to go. Going out Sunday on a run, really curious how they compare to the swampers.

I tried the standards first, wayyy too small of a foam IMO. There was even a bunch of side to side play that just bothered me immensely. The talls fit good.

Good to know thanks. I can cut down the ribbing if it's too tight also.

I plan to buy these in 1.9 and mount some VP wheels on it. I heard Proline tires doesnt mount well on some wheel brands. Has anyone tried it on a VP wheel?

I mounted Pro-Line 1.9 Super Swampers (same Pro-Line bead) on the Vanquish knockoff wheels without a problem. I do recommend loosening all the beadlock screws about 2/3 of their length to help seat the beads, work slowly and check the beads as you go. trying to start the rear screws and seat both beads at the same time with the beadlock ring fully tightened down may be a problem

Took mine out for their first run today, with the stock foams. I was really pleased with these tires, they hooked really well on dry rock and wet rock. I think when these break in they will be just as good as the swampers.

i took mine out yesterday on their maiden run after getting them at motorama, and i love the look and handling of them. they went anywhere i pointed my rig. they did pack up a little on moist moss and dirt but a blip of the throttle and they cleaned out easily. i cant wait to get em in loose stuff and on rocks at a local comp.

I got mine mounted up and will give them a try next weekend will post how they do with stock foams on a heavy truck!

Just got my 2.2s in. Larger lugs than rr10 rtr tires and slightly wider. Must say visually I like the axial a better. The lug size and the rim around bead a little unattractive.

Proline on the left, axial rr10 rtr on right. 2.2 axial krawlers provided for reference.

Who makes those wheels? I have the real ones on my 1:1 and want to build a scaler of it!

Locked-Up RC, great wheels, excellent quality and detail work and several ring styles to choose from (including a few in black now). Looks like the Agile ring on the wheels above. I also recommend the wheel wideners to ease installation and keep the tire looking more realistic (less bulge in the sidewall, less rounding of the tread).

And here's one mounted to my Locked-Up RC TrailReady wheel with Sever beadlock ring and wheel wideners (2 on each wheel), total rim/bead width is 1.54" (39.3mm).
