New hobbywing quickrun fusion pro 2300kb

I almost bought a Spektrum 2 in 1 2300kv and I’m glad I waited! This is what we’ve been asking for ever since the original release. Definitely picking up one asap.

Glad to see your enthusiasm about it. I’d just like to see what people using it have to say about it. But it might be a while for that

I have a Fusion 1800kv right now and it’s by far my favorite motor, especially for the price. Great creep ability, compact, and overall cleaner than a separate motor/ESC imo. I’m sure this one will be just as good.

Isn’t the spektrum version made by Hobbywing also? I figured they would be pretty similar, but I would be a lot more interested in the 2300kv version either way.

I really enjoy the control of the fusion.

I’m not sure if it’s made by HW or not. If I had to guess I’d say it is. I do know the Spektrum doesn’t come with the $30 program card that you need if you aren’t using it in a portal axle truck(rotation) or if you want to change the settings at all. That to me is a deal breaker when you can get the Fusion with the card for $150.

Yes the Spectrum escs and motors are Hobbywing made.

Love my V1 Axe units. Have 2.

Looking for a setup for my Monster mash rig and considered another HW, but decided to go with a Revolver and V2 Mini in it.

I can see myself getting this for the phoenix.
Do you guys think a motor like would
1) fit in the vanquish phoenix?
2) what kind of top speed should i expect from it?

Is top speed you number one concern with a crawler?

Not really but still would like to know since I’d like to trail with it as well as crawling. Also I’m not sure that would fit in a phoenix

I don’t own a Phoenix, but given that the description says it fits “most” 540 brushed and brushless motors and does not say 550 motors fit I’d bet on it not fitting.

I spotted this on the HW website several days ago, as I was considering the Fusion for the TRX4 I'm currently building. I don't remember how I "stumbled" upon the product page...but, seeing that HE had it on their website, I knew it had to be coming soon, and pre-orders would probably also open soon (as they know as they now have).

The original Fusion had a 36mm can...but, it was easy too long to for in the Phoenix, at least without serious modifications. However, the Firma 2-in-1, which is based on the Fusion (actually, given the dimensions, I'd say it's based on the Fusion Pro, which HW had to have already developed), was shorter in length, but slightly larger in diameter, requiring a simple & incredibly minor mod to the Phoenix skid. I have theFirma 2-in-1 in my Phoenix.

I'll have to give this a look. I'm super happy with my brushed system but the 2-1 is super cool. I'd have to disable the "speed closed-loop" as I hate the systems that don't allow you to feel the load on the vehicle.

Really love the Fusions and the Axe's. I've got a good bit of 1800kvs stocked up, but if I run out I know I'll be getting the 2300kv in the future.

Pre-ordered one yesterday from towerhobbies that has a 15% coupon in all hobbywing products. Worked on the pre-order so picked up for 127 bucks a pop.

Not only did I receive mine already...but, it's already in the TRX4 I'm building (which will end up being given to my stepdad).

Unfortunately, I can't finish the build just yet, as I'm still waiting for some upgrade parts to be delivered...including a trio of Power HD TR-4 servos (to replace the garbage Traxxas micro servos).

I have the Spektrum version ( 2300kv ) in my phoenix, it fits no problem but you will need to shave down an unused link mount for the front 3 link.

As far as speed it goes faster than walking pace so for trail duty its totally fine. Im using the pinion the phoenix came with.
