This is my first New Bright Jeep TJ build. This build is meant to be a replica of my brothers 1:1 almost stock Jeep TJ. I'm not done yet. I just thought I would post my progress so far.

Got the New Bright Jeep TJ body.

Taped and prepped the body for primer.

Primed the body.

Got the SCX10 axles and transmission.

Used a spare motor for this project.

Finished the paint job. Patriot Blue.

The controller (radio) arrived in the mail.

Decided the Super Swampers TSL extra large was a little bit too big for the New Bright build. Decided on Baja claws 4.19" instead.

Transmission rebuild.

Axle build.

Custom RRP delrin chassis based off of a BPC chassis.

Dick Cepeck Tires.

Fitting the body to the chassis.

Finishing touches.

Looks good! Any more plans for it?

I still need to take the wrangler off the windshield, paint sport on the side, install lights, add a license plate, and the spare tire mount, weld a rear bumper (maybe), hook up the lights and power to a toggle switch and install as the shifters. That's the plan at least. I might do more than that. I'm still deciding.

over all the jeep is pretty nice. I think you could have gone with a different type of mounting other than zip ties. Looks good though

killer paint job and detail work!! could be nicer underneath but its all about the fun! as long as you like it. not sure how well the suspension is going to work, Ive had terrible TT in the past setting up my rear shocks like this. just a tip, maybe run droop in rear with shocks in normal locations....

overall its a killer start tho!"thumbsup" main part is have fun with it! Im sure it will grow with you.
