I just bought a build a ballistic 13.5t, added thew 13mm rotor and ceramic bearings. Running it in my scx10 with mmp on 3s. Very smooth at all speeds and fast for me! I have a 14mm rotor im gonna try also so i can back off on the dragbreak allitle and have more natural drag. When i open it up and let off the throttle it rolls over forward :lmao:
Nice combo so far "thumbsup"

ill b running a mmp and a 13.5t ballistic on 4s like in my koh/ttc rig. insain power, smooth throttle and totally crawlable.

any updates on release dates??

No the more I am reading about this the more im thinking its the motor. The Novak crawler motors send a signal to the ESC that its a crawler motor and I am thinking if you dont have a Novak ESC, the motor acts like a normal brushless but I could be wrong.

It's the opposite, Novak ESC's only work with the "Crawler" motors. That wire and the 14mm rotor are the only thing different between a Novak "crawler" and any other Sensored brushless motor out there.

MMP with any brand 17.5 is gonna be a good crawl/speed compromise on 3s, with the ability to run 4-6s for stupid speed runs. I run a 12.3mm rotor in a 13.5 in my SCX, it's smoother/stronger/faster than the 27t brushed motor it replaced. Just like the 27t startup speed on 3s is a little fast for good crawling, speed is insane though, so just use the wheelspeed to jump the rocks.

got a HH 10t puller and BRXL esc waiting to go into my Wraith!

also looks like the Wraith will have some beefy CV joint drive shafts too! FINALLY AXIAL GETS IT!

Sweet:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

I never owned a Axial RTR before. Do the RTR manuals have the full assembly instructions normally?

Yes, but even better, it shows optional parts. Looks like universals and link sets will be part of the option list :)

i'm liking that the side panels are easily removable. that and since the cage/framework screws together you can make your own custom tubework and mount it to the same mounts.

1:1 wraith?!

read an article in June RC car action, the original 1:1 of the Wraith is made by JAKE HALLENBECK . Is that the Jake of CKRC?

I'm not really into scalers much, but I bought a ticket for the spec class at Scale Nats just to have a chance to drive one of these on Saturday. Hope they have spare parts on hand.........."thumbsup" I'm sure I won't be the only one giving it the skinny pedal.
