Lets just hope the cage chassis is not as weak as the Proline CGR cages on their truck bodies, if so F this rig. Im liking those new axle setups though for sure

?? - The CGR cages have proven themselves to be tough, at least to me anyway. Just cause it's "plastic" does not mean it's weak, the inherent flex designed into the parts actually help prevent them from breaking. Like stock Slash parts.

The more times I watch the video, the more I want one or two of these rigs. Looks like a fun rig to beat the hell out of and not think about the 2 grand you have in it."thumbsup"

Exactly what I was thinking. This is a configuration I'd really like to try, but not nessecarily enough to build one from scratch (if I'm scratch-building something, it's gonna be something you can't easily buy, like a 6x6 or 8x8 ) Axial sure seems to know whats up with video marketing, the more I watch this rig run the more I want one. It looks hella fun w/o a lot of expense or effort involved. Buy it, build it, rip it.

I had a feeling that some cool products were gonna be in Axials future when they brought Bender on board...

loving this thing. those axles are sweet. I was wondering what the unused screw on the bottom of the axle was for when i first saw the axle pics. but now i see it is for the axle truss for when the axle gets flipped. awesome.
the link mounts also look like the detach for when you flip the axle over.

question : an offset axle pumpkin reduces torque twist quite a bit right ? are the pumpkins on the correct side for reducing torque twist with them both being on drivers side?

I'm not so sure about that. I think it's more of a clearance thing. Keeping the diff closer to the tire is less chance of it getting hung up on a rock that the tire is on.

Reading about it, the tubes are one piece... should be easy to re-center the diff on the rear axle. "thumbsup"

Not sure about TT, but it makes both drive lines straight from the tranny.

yea i could be wrong about the tt but the way i imagine it in my head i see the offset helping with tt.

the way i see it is that the twist has to work against the additional leverage that the longer axle tube provides or because it doesn't have as much leverage because of the short side .
just going off my own thoughts not any factual knowledge.

i dont realy feel like reading through 56 pages of this thread, so has anyone else thought of what this would look like with a bronco body on it?

I'd kinda like to just have the chassis and throw my honcho axles under it. Wonder if they're wide enough. If not I might sell my Honcho and get this. I'll wait for a kit version first though. Kit version will have more metal parts just like axials other rtrs and kits.

I just want the RTR because the kid will love it and it teaches her to wrench as the aftermarket starts releasing stuff. She saw the video today and her jaw dropped.

Well, after looking at this thing for a while, I finally pre ordered mine. Yeah, I would have liked to wait for the kit, but this will do just fine."thumbsup"

Now I'll need clear replacement panels for it. Just gotta throw some paint on there.

Nice job on this one AXIAL.

Man this thing looks sweet..... that video makes me want one bad8)
I am going to have one... as soon as the kits come out.
I hate RTR.
Im sure the kits will be available soon enough"thumbsup"
CANT WAIT!!

BTW, WTF is up with the dumb name though.... what the hell is a Wraith??????
Oh well.... its still really cool! LOL
