All I can say is that I highly recommend people attend the G6 event this weekend in Las Vegas...

OH MY!!!! I cant wait, 1 day and a wake up! If Parker gets his grubby little hands on one, Rodney may have to pry the controller out of his "Kung Fu" grip!!!

What's to listen about? They make a lot more money selling a kit, they don't have to pay anyone to put it together, just mold the plastic, put it in bags and make sure the right parts are in the box.

I've alway's wondered about this. I'm sure there is a lot more to it than putting parts into bags. A lot of companys are doing RTR's these days, which makes me want to think that they are cheaper to put out.

Even if the per unit profit margin is somewhat lower on an RTR (not sure myself that it actually is), the target audience and therefore sales volume is going to be much higher as compared to a kit. I greatly prefer kits myself, but it's not necessarily the best way to do business on a large scale.

OFFICIAL AXIAL STATEMENT
Yes we listen…
Yes the Wraith will come in KIT Form.
It will follow after the RTR, not at the same delivery time.

Bugger:cry: I put a preorder in on an RTR!!!
I really love building the kits.

Me too, usually at some point you have to tear down the rtr to upgrade parts anyways. Where ever you preordered yours you can probably cancel, but who knows how much less the kits going to cost over rtr.

I just sent a nice email to the supplier asking if I can credit my order & wait for a kit version.
They are a good supplier that I bought my last truck plus accessories from so fingers crossed.

Either way I'll still be a happy camper. Maybe I bash the RTR till the kit is released & sell it"thumbsup"

I'm impressed that Axial 'heard the cry of the people' and are going to offer a kit version."thumbsup""thumbsup"

This has popped up on a local forum. Does any one know anything about it.

If this has been raised already please delete this thread.

What started as a fresh start with a clean slate for the Axial Research and Development team, has only lived in spirit in the eyes of the public until recent, resulting in vague images of uncertainty. The Wraith, while it has been nothing more than ghosts of whispers, is about to enter the scene and bring a new dimension of excitement.

While you were sleeping the Axial team has been working feverishly to capture the spirit of the Wraith.
Bolded what I found particularly interesting.... 8)

I remember reading thoughts about this maybe having a 2 speed transmission.. do you think the twin stick shifters would be another indication of this? 8) Just an idea as far as it being scale and all..

i think the pumpkin is offset like a 1:1 rig is if you look at the side photo the driveline is closer to the driver side link too:shock:
