I'm thinking I'm going to hold off on the JK... buy the Wraith... then rob the axles for the JK. Hmm... yeah. That's a plan.

Or his ability to type in all capital letters and not come off as an asshat. :flipoff:

Hello Krawler Konceptz,

Thank you for your perception that I "forgot"....
I may be from Alabama, but that was no mere blunder. I purposefully did that as the SCX10 is a "common ground" base to draw perspective from. There are a couple of SCX10's in the marketplace and I figured to compare the Wraith to the SCX10 would lend a "little" insight.

Just mount a set of 2.2's on your SCX10 if you want measure both measurements with one wooden ruler... We have a nice article on doing so on the blog:http://axialracing.com/wordpress/2011/02/23/fitting-22-tires-on-your-scx10/

Did you notice how I accidentally "forgot" axle width from the charts/specs as well?

I am forgetting a lot in my old age... Where am I? Who are you? Where did I put the camera batter charger? [Did that last night!] What color pickles are those hanging from your rearview mirror? Why do you coat your tires with sausage grease before each comp? Why should I use neon underwear in the dark? Brain Parker for Sheriff of Hassellhoff County!

All in serious fun yall'z!

It's like wearing the color pink. We are playing with toy cars because we are man enough to say we do!

Those specs are nice......But you forgot that the scx is on 1.9's and the wraith is on 2.2's

Wraith Battery Capacity?

Someone asked about Wraith Battery Capacity?

The Axial R&D didn't design this vehicle with a 18-wheeler size 10,000 gallon capacity as an ideal performance criteria. The moonshine days of carrying fuel from Talladega all the way through the Appalachian Mountains before the first fuel stop are bygone...

Again, "I THINK" they designed battery capacity to fit "what is most popular."
But, hey, you are more than welcome to custom mount three sets of shocks for payload VS performance.

Consider the most feared and sought after mathematical formula when choosing your fuel capacity and more importantly overall vehicle weight:
P2WR "PoWeR2WeIgHtRaTiO"

Back in the day at the street races:
One week I will ask you for your horsepower.
Another week I will ask you for your weight.
Then I got your 60ft/1320ft time... you better be lying both weeks or I got you!

For extending your battery capacity, there are several backpacks on the market that have various load capacities but the most popular are "Day Hike Packs" and range in the 1500-2000 cubic inches.

Or if you are the max capacity type, here is my 5-Day Mil-Spec Arc'teryx Tango Military pack:

True, but when we drop an 1/8th scale brushless motor in there for TTC use we need more fuel capacity to feed that horsepower for the same amount of time. The 600hp 393 stroker in my Bronc won't run to it's full potential without a bigger tank and fuel pump..

If you up the weight you just double the horsepower to make up for it.

You guys are all crazy for many different reasons.:ror:

Anyways I'm just trying to figure out how I'm gonna come up with the money
to get me a Wraith since my wife gave me permission to go ahead and get
ANOTHER RC. but since I have so many I'm now trying to figure out which
ones I'm going to sell to fund this new rig."thumbsup"

Come on Axial lets get this thing out already.
