New Associated Enduro Crawler - Free-Mods & Upgrades

Guys, I've noticed that Club 5 Racing has a few nifty Enduro-specific products such as:

Aluminum servo/bumper mount
Stainless center skid plate
Third brake light for cab
Tail-light buckets
Body/bed stiffeners
Multiple types of light kits
Roof racks
etc.

Worth checking out:

Nice find![emoji106]

Looks like Club 5 Racing will be getting some of my money!

Definitely a nice find Durok! Going to grab that servo mount and the shock mount supports.

Still on the hunt for a metal/better pan hard mount though. Saw a few that were 3D printed but they look bulky and heavy.

I've been planning on getting some of the Club5 stuff, but I've just not gotten around to it. Wanted some of their links for my trucks as well.

Here is something I did to mine today.

So svt923 has already showed us how to redo and strengthen our pan hard bar mount at the frame. So today I decided it was time for me to give it a try. I was being lazy and didn't want to break down my truck to braze a mount to the frame, so came up with this.

Details in my build.

Would a set of scx10 shock hoop/phb mount work on this truck? Plethora of aftermarket stuff...
Anyone have both trucks to try a swap/test fit?

Just not sure since scx10 has a funky arch there on the frame rail iirc.
Vs410 shock towers maybe?

What about hot racing?

SSD do a nice set. I have one on my scx10.2. Usual high quality and reasonable price

Tom Lucas put up a video showing the SCX10.2 shock hoops on the Enduro, they do fit but they also mess up the geometry and introduce some bump steer.

These will also lower the truck as they do place the top of the shock mount higher.

I imagine with a little time we'll have metal shock hoops and Panhard mounts for the Enduro, so I plan to wait it out.

If you want to use Vanquish VS410 shock mounts, you will have to grind part off because the Element shock caps are too big near the mounting holes.... Harley did that on the fronts in his video of the chassis swap, and he then used Element rear shock hoops. That's one reason why I am not planning on using the Vanquish chassis I bought...for now, at least.

Vanquish pro bumper on the front fits pretty good. I removed some material on the edges.

Works well with the servo winch.

Still looking for a bumper for the rear. The SCX2 Cherokee bumper that was laying around fits ok, but is too big. Still smaller the the sendero bumper

I am going for a modern prerunner with old school look and I really like the SSD slot wheels with small tires. "thumbsup"

Man that looks great! I was wondering about the vs410 bumper from the new pro version. Very nice.

Is that the proline rear cage? Looks fantastic with the bed still wrapped around it!

Thanks 8) I really like the stance of it. Great little truck.

Yes, it is the proline cage. I used some axial rod end balls for spacing.

Hey, Grimm - did you get the Vanquish rear bumper too?

I got both F&R but haven't opened the packaging yet - was wondering if you had and did it not suit the rear?

Mine has the Enduro optional utility bed, and I may actually use the rear bumper if it fits because there's only a single horizontal tube across the rear of it - kinda could use some extra protection...

Thanks OSRC 8)

@durok

Yes I have the rear bumper.

If mounted just like that it doesnt fit very well. Too short.

If I move the bumper mount backwards it works ok. But the bumper is not low enough and the bed gets lifted up by a little.

Say hi to the toe:ror:

After raising the body by one hole it actually fits pretty well. Some minor cutting and it would look quite good.
Anyway, I am not sure if I want to run the bumper mount like this and I would prefer not to raise the body.

I also tried the SSD rear bumper I have on my Cherokee. It fits pretty well, but also needs the bumper mount to be moved further back. Since you can remove the mounts on the bumper itself, there could be another solution for this.

Still, I am not sure what I will end up with. Not satisfied enough with the results.
Maybe the bumper fits better with the flat bed. If they would have released it just a few days earlier I probably also would have gone with it. But I finished fitting the cage shortly before.

Thanks for the test-fitting and the pics - much appreciated!

I'll be sure to do the same when I am done with my Utility-bed install.

Man, Club 5 is really on top of things as far as the Enduro is concerned - they've added more to the list of upgrades they offer, new steel front and rear bumpers in two styles on pre-order!
