My new 2-speed scale Yeti

I'm running Axial's blue(what they call super firm) on all 4 corners, have my adjusters all the way down and I'm still wanting for more... and I've got them mounted in the tallest positions in hopes of more ground clearance, but i know that makes them act softer due to the mechanical advantage. Actually works pretty nice as a technical crawler. I've been thinking about making some dual rate sleeves and stacking 2 different springs, like we used to do on our real rock crawling rigs.

I'm gonna use my yeti for some general crawling, trail and ''wood bashing''... (no U4 comp)... Is my setup any good so far? Any recommendation?

How do you like the TORO S-Pro4 3500kv and are you running it on 3s? I'm looking to help build a budget Yeti for some U$ style racing and these seem to pop up all the time under 50 bucks and would like to try one out.

Thanks TJ

I really like the Toro
S-Pro4 3000kv. Would like to try the 3500kv, but they're out of stock worldwide.
Very comparable to my Tekin Pro4HD.

Like my 3500kv very much... Smooth and speedy as hell...
As for the esc, stay away!!! Its a piece of junk...

You mind posting a pic of the stock tires next to the JConcepts? I think these will be my second set of tires on black U4s.

Lovin' the build dude!

Yes larger with the oversize stock foam... Much better with appropriated CI foam...
And yes, they are huge!!!

On the rig itself, not really. .. On the shelf almost ever since... Other builds took the time of this one...
But I really need to finish it, only need to install the new combo, didn't like the actual electronic setup at all... And setup the 2-speed correctly...
As for the tires, didn't try them myself but saw couple of rigs with them and they are quite impressive... A lot of grip on rock, not bad performance on "track" either... They are huge so a lot of clearance under the rig...
