my Gmade Bouncer

I was looking at your specs. Did you have these spare parts already, or did you pick them specifically for this build? Either way they look like they are working well for you.

all i had was some creeper links when I started. Some parts came from here and most came from ebay. I will eventually swap out the SCX10 axles for some wraith axles.

Thanks for the compliments. So far so good.

Those are my dig tires :twisted:

Nope, they are imex red rocks. Old school tire to some of the veterans here on RCC. If they had these in real life there wouldnt be any stopping them

well, bring a set to the SETTC I just may pick them up. For now I plan to run the Sand Paws. In florida all we have is sand and dirt so those should do really good here. It looks like the SETTC is going to be opened up a LOT this year. I'll make an official statement on it by the weekend.

Whoa! I'm going to subscribe to follow your progress on this.

Thanks. I have begun some ebay bidding on wraith axle parts and pieces. Not in a rush on them cause this thing runs good right now. I am also working on scoring a sensored brushless motor. I keep hearing about how much smoother they are at slow rpms. The MMP is supposed to be able to start on sensors and change over to sensorless operation once it gets going.

I'm also working on aluminum sides for it. They should be ok. Nothing spectatcular.

I will post some videos up by sunday. I should have my Sand Paws in and mounted so I'll be running all 3 sets of tires. Cut Venom Creepers, Gmade Bighorns, and the Paws. I'll also try to get some comparison videos so the differences can be seen between the tires performances.

I got my sand paws. On a test run, 3S and 1st gear is too slow. even in 2nd gear it could use more motor. These tires have a rather small OD so that may be the case here. As a do-it-all machine I think it will do fine. I now have 3 sets of tires, the Bighorns, Cut Venom Creeper, and he Sand Paws. So expect some videos of each this weekend.

Yeah I got it to the top but that top is close to vertical. The creeper tires spin easy, the bighorns bounce and the paws dig. There are more hills and trails but they are just too nasty with silt and other "mud" from the floods.

this is the hill

Top left pic is the peak at the top
top right pic is the middle jump
then the full frontal
I would guess thats about 8ft high and a whole lotta fun!!

Nice rig build!"thumbsup" Would it be possible to get a parts breakdown that are used for the widening of the chassis?

There aren't any parts in that other then the sides. Once I figured out wide it needed to be to clear the trans and battery, I just went with it. I built the belly plate out of 1/4" thick aluminum and the hood, top, and sides are much thinner aluminum sheet metal. I think the top and hood are 18ga and the sides are 20ga. It weighs in with the 5000MAH 3S lipo at just under 7lbs so its kinda heavy IMO I may end up buying some delrin and rebuilding the belly. But then again, the weight is down low and its hard to keep it on its wheel as it is! LoL

So, my question for you guys is this. What color would look best on this thing? I am thinking yellow cause the yellow and black is kinda like a bee or something.

Thoughts? Maybe some photochop?
