My ESP CLodzilla IV

i like speed and i like rock crawling but 2 trucks is a lil exspinsive though not outa reach.

it looks almost like a monster truck so i was thinking jumps speed then maybe a lower gear for rock crawling

You said it EXACTLY!!! I remember going to the hobby shops and drooling over those when I was a kid! I can't remember how many gears I stripped in my BlackFoot trying to do what those "big" monster trucks could do!!
So here's dumb question, how come the USA-1 isn't used as a crawler platform?

independant suspension front and rear and lack of replacement parts.

Yeah, the parts are hard to find and the gear boxes on the kyosho are not as beefy as the clods. The shaft leading from the gearbox to the wheels is plastic. The clod is the way to go.

Well unfortunatly it snowed here in NY....sucks...so I did not snap any new action shots outside. I did do some changes before the snow. I decided to run the evx off of one battery. The 550's have pleanty of power supplied to them. The truck is behaving better with the less volts. Its not as jerky. Im going to stick with these motors and just buy some smaller pinions. I also cut the stock tires to break up the v pattern, and they now grip much better. I have to see about getting a video of it up. It really preforms nicely. I'll post some new pics as soon as the snow melts;-)

it snowed here about 12 to 15 inches i almsot have enough money for my clodzilla i would drive it in the snow but not real deep

clod 4

i want one. do you have any pics of crawling or anything? i like slopping rear-end, low slung out racing for some reason! sweet truck

have you run the truck & if so what are is your impressions of the clodzilla chassis?? I have heard some bad things about the chassis being weak & tweaking in a crash & the cnatilevers wearing quickly or screw holes not drilled right , have you seen any of this with your kit???

Rat power396.... Yes to everything you said. Screw holes either dont line up or were never drilled, and the hardware that came with it has all been thrown in the garbage because its a soft metal.(screws were stripping) I could have bought a really nice kit from one of our guys here for what I paid for that thing.
