i drove my truck through some water before all these mods and my body mounts and esc mount rusted so i sanded the rust down a little bit and painted it with some black rustolem paint and it turned out pretty good
a battery mount to avoid the battery hitting the driveshafts or the motor.

its at 12 hours right now
is that enough time to cure or should i wait the full 24 hours?

I run one of my trucks in the mud/water alot and the bushings will not hold up. Mine were shot buy the time the second battery pack was dead. The bushings around the pinion gear were actually egg shapped and allowed the pinion gear to move around enough to strip it and the ring gear. I have since put in rubber sealed bearings and have not had any problems yet. (about 10 battery packs) I have had the truck totally under water a few times to. This is just my experience with the bushing, just might be better to fix before there is more damage. Here is a pic of what I usually run in.

i am probably going to my second favorite crawl spot and test it out
there is a creek to go through and the spot would be a perfect candidate to hold a comp at. if i go i will post pics.

i just always thought that it was better to run bushings if the truck was gunna be run through water cuz the bushings wouldnt rust. so iduno?

i think i have a good place to host one but i havent been to a comp and im not sure how to go about this.
