Motor/ ESC Combos!

Too bad you're out of stock on the BRXL's I need one for my Wraith and can't wait any longer. I guess I'll throw a brushless system in there and see what all the hype is about.

There are many other retailers that carry and have stock of the BRXL if you are wanting just the ESC.

I just found one in stock, so now I need your help selecting a motor.

Wraith on 3s with 10oz wheels/tires each corner, MIP driveshafts, Robinson Racing tranny. 90% scale crawler 10% hammer down get me out of this mess, on occasion will see some water but nothing crazy. Have a good suggestion for a motor and spur/pinion ratio?

To give you an idea I have your 35t sport motor and 5:1 spur/pinion ration in my SCX10 and really like it's low speed resolution, but I want to push a bit more wheel speed in the Wraith.

13t Crawlmaster or 27t TrailMaster. I would go with Trailmaster and 15/84 gearing for starters.

Order in! Can't wait to try this thing out, I haven't even looked at them before simply because I haven't heard of anyone else using them. I will surely post my experience after I put a few packs through it. Thanks for the great customer service! "thumbsup"

Looking to pick up one of your combos. I am currently running a AE-2 with a Tekin 35T HD and the torque seems fine to me, but I would like some more speed. Is there any way to keep the torque and gain a bit of speed by running one of your 5 pole Crawlmasters?

A 13t Crawlmaster or 27t torquemaster will get you there. The TorqueMaster will have more torque, but the CM will still have enough to break parts.

What is the difference between the sport and expert combos? I don't want to run the risk of breaking parts with too much power.

Ok cool, looks like I will go with a torque master expert combo. Thanks for the help. Other than a battery connector what else would be needed. Does the kit come with enough wire? I have never used a lipo battery yet, but now might be a good time to take the leap. Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

Combos come with motor wire, you have about a foot between the motor wires and the ESC wires. Cut the motor wires to length, solder on, and you are ready to go.

I received my 55 turn expert combo in the mail the other day. Quality is top notch. Thanks John.

Was looking to replace/upgrade/build another truck my stock axial SCX-10 motor/ESC. (27t/ae2) I'm happy with that set up just looking for a replacement. Would torque master sport combo in 27t or 35t be similar in performance?

Just ordered a Torquemaster/crawlmaster Combo 16t (waterproof) for my Honcho! Very excited! What kind of wait times am I looking at?
