Mn crawling locations

Brighton beach.. Take the foot path on the two harbors side for about one city block.

There is no longer plans for an indoor crawler course at Hobby Town in brooklyn park. I just talked to ray, and he sayed he had a course, but no longer has room for it... Sorry for the bad news guys. (although it might not be new info to some people)

A little late on the scene here but I've been going to Alimagnet Park in Apple Valley/ Burnsville (park in lot on Ridgeview Dr off of Walnut Lane). Nice area for trail running with enough rocks to make things fun. I posted some photos in the Ridgecrest forum.

There is a little trail/ walking path with a creek here in Rogers but I haven't checked it out yet. I will when I get my turuck running, and take a few pics.

I'd love some indoor place in the cities. It'd make the winter just a bit better!

Do any of you know of any go-fast indoor or outdoor tracks in the cities?

Has anyone gone to Spring Lake Park Reserve/ Schaar's Bluff in Hastings? I completely forgot about the walking trails there (I fly at the grass RC field that Dakota County maintains). Great spot for trail rigs and down along the shore there's plenty of technical stuff for the comp crawlers. I had my dog with me today so I didn't go down there but the trails are fun, especially the rock staircase.

I saw maybe a total of 4 people at the park yesterday around 1PM (I'm on night shift this week so I get to goof off when I wake up). On weekends in the summer the park is fairly busy, and it's usually the playground that's packed. When I used to geocache out there years ago the trails were not that crowded.

Nice I might have to make a trip out next time I get free time. I work 9-5s so its about dark when I leave work. Need to get some lights on my junk haha

Im about 30 mins or so from there I akso days but would be willing to met up on a weekend maybe this weekend anyone up for some crawlin

Maybe soon its getting damn cold it tho. I just got a 1.9 CC01 scale rig should get here some time this week and once I get it going I would be down to bring it there along with my 2.2 rig.

yeah i have been there with my dad in our bronco. That old iron range would be awesome for rock crawling. Unfortuanately i live about six hours away.

well there is a place in Wisconsin not far from the cities. There website is freedomraceway.com. I went there once and it was awesome

My girlfriend and i met up with PITA today at Battle Creek off hwy 61 and lower afton rd. Some steep grades on sandstone with some dirt/rock mix trails and even a rock staircase "thumbsup" It kept us entertained for a few hours. Good place to kill some time and get a little practice.
