Mn crawling locations

Headed to the Boom Site in Stillwater and Vermillion Falls in Hastings on Saturday. The boom site was COMPLETELY under water. you couldn't get within 100' of the crawling area and Vermillion wasn't much different, plus it started to rain. It's been a while since I got the rigs out too so I was a little bummed to come home with full packs.

Any one know of some good spots to run my scx10 near Columbus/Forest lake? I am just getting into this scene, and it seems near me is hard to find a good area.

Interstate Park is about a half hour from you. If you haven't been there you really need to!"thumbsup"

There's a comp there on Sunday, come up and join us!"thumbsup"

Oh, and welcome!

Hey you guys from Dulut', I was working in Two Harbors and Duluth Tues and Wed this week, and in between I saw a very promising area, the mouth of the Snake River. Have you guys checked that area out? I saw a parking area there, too.

Yep. It was alright.
Try stony point or brighton beach

I'm in the duluth area. Are there any people that get together around here for rc running?

It's spur of the moment and usually just a couple buddies but I'm always down to see new rigs.

I live in burnsville..is there some good crawler places close by that I can go crawling?..I do not know the place very well

I'm sure there are some good places down there. I'm on the north side of the cities so others will have to chime in.

If you're looking for some real fun, we have a g6 in Byron on Saturday that's going to be a blast.

This is more accurately an event, but it's a place to scratch your winter crawling itch.

Some buddies and I host the Snowcrawl Series in my garage in Fridley. I am out there all the time, so if you want to just learn some tricks and get some wheel time, PM and we'll get something arranged.

The course is multi-surface, including rocks, plywood, approx 1"dia. branches, wood slats, and metal. During the Series events, we time the runs and award a Traveling Trophy to the Series Champ, but mostly it's just for fun.

Oh yea, we usually have an outside track set up, too, and we run a multi lap race, all rigs at once. It usually turns into a bash bonanza!
