sitting around recovering from surgery has my mind spinning. I've decided to build a Micro K5 using So Real Concepts 73-75 K5 and a Losi Micro Crawler.

I've ordered a blade SMC 4.5 EX chassis, wheel wideners, aluminum skid and drivelines from Crawler X.

I've actally got 3 of the K5's Blue red and yellow not sure which one I'll use. this shoud be a fun little Blazer when done

Looks like a good start.K5s are very nice.I'm doing one as well,but an older model.Yours is going to be heavy with the metal body.

I'm not real concerned with performance, I just think it will look cool. It will be fun to play with and let the other guys drool over at the Blazer Bash BBQ in Moab next year8)

decided to go with Blue...disassemby goes fast on these little guys:ror:

not sure what scale items will work with the new chassis I'll have tinker. I hope that I can keep the 572 underthe hood!

Hey man looks great so far! Is there real working leafs there? Oh ya I can't buy from trevorstoybox on ebay he is a dick and told me before I can't buy from here because I haven't bought anything on ebay before it sucks cause I really want 1 and they are cheap :(

ride height is a bit too high but the wheels and tires look pretty scale

real steering but not a real suspension. hood doors and tailgate open and top comes off. search the web and if you can't find one hit me up;-)

Man I've looked all over even been to soreals website but I can't afford 30 bucks for a truck I have been looking since I got my micro last year
 
Really I thought they were real rubber from what I could tell by the pics on ebay that's a bummer there pretty nice looking...so what's ur plans for it so far?

crawler x is here in utah so I hope to have the chassis this week, once it's all mounted up I'll work on the scale stuff

Sweet I subed ur build and rated 5 stars looks like an awesome build I have a build going on its a 88 chevy I've spent a lot of time on and no where near finnished but dnt guess many people like it lol and I haven't been able to mess with it much due to my part of being disabled and my wife just having back surgery but ur build has me ready to start mine again :-)

I saw your build and dig it8) I want to do one just like it, really wish they built something in the 1:10 scale I want it to look like my old 97. It was my first brand new vehicle drove it for 13 years and regret ever selling it:cry:
 
Thanks bro I just updated it also but had to stop for now new razor blades are really sharp lol I'm likein that truck man she was a beauty u should stop on my thread sometime and give me some ideas bro lol
 
13 years, 140k miles, and millions of memories. I love to hear "remember that time we were in your truck and...":lmao: to be young again!
