My first post here because I am totally new to the crawler world. I am going for scale looks for trailing, not for outstanding crawling performance. I bought this original Honcho kit used and have been building it up to be bulletproof for my purposes (hope I'm doing it right!).

Truck Base : SCX10 Honcho kit

ESC: Novak Havoc 3s

Motor(s): Novak Ballistic 18.5T sensored brushless

Servo(s): Losi high torque (only 80 oz/in, getting replaced soon)

Trans: stock housing and gears except for RR one piece hardened outdrives

Axles: stock

Tires: Mudslinger 2.2's

Also has MIP driveshafts, aluminum links, STRC aluminum knuckles and hubs, Proline Comanche body with Honcho rollcage and aluminum bed.

mostly stock wraith
1/8 front buggy shocks extended to 115mm. custom valveing
lower shock mounts flipped over. rear upper flipped over.
turnigy track star 150 esc
turnigy 2100kv 1/8 motor.
gears are 14/56 32p for crawling switch to 20tooth pinion for sand
on 2-3 cell it crawls awesome and 4-6 its foffing fool with paddles.

On the front HD worm drive and HD shafts. Aluminium C-hubs with 20 degrees caster angle.

Rims: Vanquish SLW 1, 1" wide, .600 hubs rear and .850 hubs front.

Tires: HB Rover, white.

Foams: CI Double Deuce with narrow inners.
Front 5.25" soft with soft tuning ring.
Rear 5.0" medium with medium tuning ring.

Wheel Base: 315mm

Overall Width: 265mm (front wheels)

Diff clearance: 46mm (front axle)

Center Chassis clearance: 70mm (lowest part of the skid plate)

My scx 10. Still stock body, but I'll be getting a hardbody for it ASAP. Bit of a mishmash of electronics - 2075 servo, ae-2 esc, Hk gt-2 receiver, as-3 tx.


Oh, and this seems to be my 1st post! Been lurking for a while though.

Heres mine. Im a complete and total newbie to this side ofbthe hobby and Im hooked. Ive had the Deadbolt just over a week. I have wheel weights, Gmade 2.2 Mudrocks and Hotbodies Rovers and a 14T pinion gear on its way.
