Losi Baja Rey 1/10th 4WD RTR desert truck

This is pretty cool and looks sweet but altering geometry is not a good thing. The baja Rey 4 link set up is set up right. Unless someone comes out with the same exact geometry it's not worth the aesthetics.

that would help with the nosedives if you don't know how to launch the truck right.. that's bout it.

looks to me that the distance between the links at the axle are shorter in height.

Also looks like the rear axle is narrow compared to the stock axle. Look at the pic with the body on. The rear wheels are sitting further inside the fenders. In waiting for an alloy axle specifically designed for this truck.

Hopefully SSD does some of thier diamond wide axle housings for this. If that is indeed the metal concepts axle for this truck i hope it isnt that narrow.

I still wouldn't buy a metal axle for this truck. its not needed. im actually thinking about buying 2 extra plastic axles for maybe a new super shafty!

take the spare tire off no need for the long screw or nut anymore. there is a shorter screw included. it replaces the spare tire.

I would like to see an aluminum axle that's to factory specs so all internals and geometry stay exactly the same. Only if I had a mill....[emoji848]

Casting would still require machining and it just wouldn't be cost effective. Machining a one off prototype would also not be cost effective by far.

I am in talks with metal concepts as we speak but unfortunately theirs won't be a factory spec. Their should be V2 coming out with a wider lower link mounts closer to spec but their still going to be smaller by 1/8" or so.

I stated I would like to see one made. I would buy one if it was factory spec and I could use all factory internals.
