Losi 1/10th Roller

Although I would have to agree that it will not make you a pro driver, our goal was to help take the guess work out of which chassis, link setup, digs etc to run and offer something that was ready to go. I'm not trying to knock all the great stuff out there by the vendors here at RCC. but when I would go to comps I would say that about 20% really knew and understood how to set up their chassis' while the rest of us (myself included) couldn't get our chassis to work like the other 20%. Yes driving talent is a huge part, but chassis setup does make a big difference too.

I don't think we have the ultimate solution, but hopefully we've raised the bar a little.

There is a lot to learn and this crawler takes a different driving style and I'm nervous but excited to see that these will be in consumers hands soon.

Rich

A very good statement. This rig definietely has raised the bar for setup of an out of the box crawler. Is it going to be the best setup out there, probably not. Will it need work to make it as durable as the rest, I am guessing YES.

Can't say I like worm gears all that much but this truck has one hell of a list of sweet parts.

I don't see that happening, I think the LCC is off to a great start for being at the top of the food chain.

Set up is HUGE... I suck at it... that's why I have my crew chief JB LMAO

Well said Rich. "thumbsup"

From what I've seen at our local comps, a well setup rig will push you up towards the middle of the pack or higher, but it's driving and strategy that gets you into the top 10 consistently.

just got the call from my LHS and mine is waiting for me to pick up!

A quick questiond for Rich or anyone else who's ran one. I don't have a 21.5 to drop in so I was planning on using my 17.5 for the time being w/ a 3S Lipo. Can anyone suggest a pinion size to start with?

I myself am not going pro yet . I am looking foreword to the increased steering more than anything that seem,s to help me in novice that was a advantage my creeper had in comp over everyone else MOAS or Axiel 8)

Do some clubs run a pro and novice class seperately at every comp? I've only seen that done at WCC.

My club runs everything together, same as all the other clubs in my area do.

Talked to CKRC today about when I can expect the Losi I preordered in Jan., and was told that LOSI was short shipping the orders to most of the shops, and now I have to wait until the first week to middle of June before I'll see my crawler. Any thoughts on this Rich? Is Losi having trouble meeting it orders?

Does anyone (maybe Rich) know what Horizon's policy is on shipping - I ordered my Losi (from Horizon) on 12/5/08 - will they ship it at the same time as to dealers or with the second batch?? Thanks

Big name hobby place

ALL those looking for the Losi rig in Kennesaw GA, The Big store doesnt have them yet and was clueless about when they will be recieving them, Stating "the dates have been pushed back"??

Also the store in Trussville, Alabama that has the same name has none on order so dont waste your time there either.

can't wait to get this crawler!!! quick question, do you not need the
BEC to run this rig? anybody ( the testers) running a BEC in the comp
crawler?
