Losi 1/10th Roller

Has anybody seen anything about the sizes of the links, could you use aftermarket links for axial or berg on this rig

Lets see:

New Grappler-esq body - hell yes!
Standard Losi Crawler shocks - hell yes!
Worm gear driven - Will learn to love I'll bet - hell yes!
Standard Claws (blue hopefully) - Hell yes!
Tranny dig - hell yes!

This looks to be very promising in the 2.2 market. Axial may have some sales affected when this launches depending on price?!

Just found this today.....looks like it could be hot if the quality is there!

Any news about the final gear ratio yet? Or did I just overread it?
What´s the ratio in the axle itself?

@ Tanis: sweet thanks there. i read that a while back, but was still wondering if it was the same time frame :)

@ uli: 80:1 as stated in the rc car action mag review.

so what turn motor should be run with this ratio? would a 18.5 tun unit work good?

We're still working on what the final gear ratio will be in the axles;).
Right now, running an Excellorin 17.5 system on 3cell, it's in the neighborhood of a 45Tish.

dam how many gear ratios have they changed so far? im dying waiting for this! would a 18.5t goat crawler work pretty good with what they are thinking for ratios?

Any specs on the dig set up yet? I'm wondering if the 3rd channel switch will need to function the same as say the RC4WD dig, ie; the 4wd position is not the neutral point of the switch. I run a first gen DX3 for my Super and have a TCS momentary toggle for rear steer...wondering if I can retain that switch for use with the Losi Comp 2.2

4WD will be the center position, Front DIG to the rear , and Rear DIG to the front. You should be able to run this DIG on a 2 position switch (if you don't want front or rear DIG).

Im wanting to get away from my tlt axled rig, but I'm undecided between the losi and artr axial rigs which one do you think would be the better choice between also Note to richy-rich (lol) how is parts availability going to be (i.e. will tcs and other supporters be carrying parts for it) Thanks

Losi has great parts support I have had an ax-10 since right after they came out and I think they are a great start but I think ultimetly the Losi will prove to be a better comp rig.

Is there some kinda time frame when we may know the final gear ratio? I am ready for mine parts are piling up now.:ror:
