Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Well... for some reason your rear uppers are lower than your front uppers at the chassis. I have seen that on one other rig lately... 8) Not a YTC chassis though.

He was also experimenting with no knuckle weights.

I like the wheels. Im looking forward to seeing what is pinching the bead "thumbsup"

Delmonte's links have been like that, and so have mine, works well, I still use knuckle weight though.

Its not the first time, The hot setup for the V4 was all the way up at the chassis for the front and two holes down in the rear.

Not sure how to take that comment harvo...

And as for the wheels... They are the first "full"carbon fiber wheels with and added 1/4" of internal weight area...

I Didn't mean for it to be taken any particular way. Just that it was a change I noticed since your last picture and a friend and I are playing around with that type of link placement on a T1E as well. It just stood out to me because it's nothing I had ever tried before until recently. That's all. No hidden meaning...I promise "thumbsup"

The teaser pic worked! Now give up the goods. Let's see some more of those wheels

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Jeremy, I meant to ask this previously. How did the below wheels go from a strength perspective. Did you notice any adverse effects like twisting because of the placement of the hub face?

O.k good, it was kinda hard to read.

This link placement is nothing new for me or anyone running one of my previous chassis or the s/a chassis. It is actually the middle ground so to say..

Strength wise the face actually sees way less leverage than the latter "face" wheel with a really long hub. Twisting is not an issue any more than a standard wheel with standoffs..

The full carbon wheels don't have any of the inherent twist and they can also support a 200 lb man on either the face or the bead rings seats upright, and do so with 1/4" more internal diameter and at only .8 oz...

Would you say the link setup helps carry/transfer more weight on the front?

Meaning not needing to run as much knuckle weight to get the same feeling.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

it should make the squat bite down more in the front, while being neutral(ish) in the rear.

i think :D

I just cant wait to get mine running this weekend!

As long as Sense is willing to subject me to his tutelage.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

What's the weight compared to the other ones you had before?

The weight is similar at .55 oz for the wheel itself and .8 oz with an unmodified vanquish .700 hub.....This will soon drop!

The added strength to the overall structure is unbelievable, and like I said the interior area is a 1/4" larger so weight can be concentrated .20" farther out than the previous wheel.

And not to mention they are the F$RST of their kind and cool as hell!

Increased strength... Increased "cool" factor.... Increased price??? But i am sure it will be worth it:twisted:
