Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I'm so inspired that I've begun prototyping a new XR Chassis from popsicle sticks, paste, and old Iphone parts.

Says the guy who had one off worm drive axles that later became MOA worm drive axles years before the LCC. :ror:

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

thats cool but i think this will net more than that...

that's funny....i have a whole spool of it from the epoxied project"thumbsup"

i know some find it ridiculous to try to be this light, but i am shooting for a 3.5 lb with a sever front bias still, and all metal axles.....

I think its hard but possible. Found some more options to tune the vp parts now vp gear case and cover are only 0.2oz more than plastic:twisted:
so i will put my vp parts on back.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I find it amusing that my grail was under 5pds. Now that I've achieved that, all I can think about is going lighter. . .

glad to see you thinking straight again manu"thumbsup"

I find it amusing that my grail was under 5pds. Now that I've achieved that, all I can think about is going lighter. . .

Hello,

here you are (that are the screws you need):

6x M3x12 (for the chassis braces top and front)
6x M3x16 (for the chassis brace rear and lower links)
4x M3x20 (for the shocks)
4x M3x22 (for the upper links)
4x M3x25 (for the chassis braces middle)

Greetings Frank

I am also very interested in this. After driving one of the Agents at ECC the force may have drawn me to the darkside. Keep us posted.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I'm really interested in this chassis but I want the links too so without the links what's the point? Krawl even said himself that his links work best but if I can't buy them then what's the point? I have the skills required to make my own links being a 20year machinist but Im in the mindset that I could spend 20 hrs of testing and trial and error bending and more testing or spend $100 to buy some ti links I know work.. Do the math. My time is worth more than the money. So krawl since you won't respond to me about the links how about I offer you $250 for a secret agent v4 chassis and links exactly like the titanium links you use. This will probably be the last time I look at this chassis if I can't buy your links. The chaotic crawler links look good but you said they aren't as good in your opinion but that leaves me at a dead end. I don't do comps or anything, I just want to make sure I can out do my friends no matter what with this xr build I'm doing. Help!!!

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I bought the lunsford ti needed, (roughly $75+ shipping, not $50) took a small clamp on table vice and my hands and slowly bent links to make sure I didn't get over zealous in my bends. You don't don't need to be a machinist or spend 20hrs. I spent about 2hrs total.

Also, if your not comping, how do you plan to "out do" your friends?

With "wow factor" hahaha:lmao:

And Chaotic has revised his link set for better fitment. I still need to verify the fitment of the new rear lowers for a front axle housing in the back, but it looks like they should be cherry.

And what is one person's opinion? I find it silly taht you'd base your purchase solely on the dependency of if a link set is available for it, as opposed to the significant positive feedback the chassis itself has garnered from various members all who do not have Jeremy's specific links.

You`re not being ignored, krawl`s away this week. I`m sure he`ll respond about the links as soon as he can.
If it`s the last time you look at the chassis, it`s your loss "thumbsup"

If your not Comping and just want to out do your friends just build a super.

But give Jeremy some time. These guys just came off a big weekend. I doubt he's ignoring anyone, just doing what good vendors do and catching up the best they can.
