Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Enough already! Lets just see who can figure out how to drive these damn toy trucks on the rocks. :flipoff:

See you on the rocks."thumbsup"

x2 "thumbsup"

To me they all look the same, starting from when I was helping test and design the Kami line, I have lined up plate from just about all chassis and they are are all the same for the most part, down to the link mount and design. We just keep pushing the minimalist idea, and this is what you get. I personally like EGRESSor's tuber best, THAT looks different!

Wish everyone could get along and just have fun!:flipoff:

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I've not had one of these Secret Agent's in hand, but I can assure you guys that its different for CDW's chassis. CDW doesn't hold the patent on a low slung chassis. Anyone is welcome to design one. Why does it seem Krawl is constantly under attack and there is a ton of bickering about who came up with what first. Go back and look at who was around first. Why don't you guys search Krawl's thread history and compare them to the imitators. The dates speak for themselves.

And for those of you who think I'm defending a friend, I've never even met the guy, just an active observer on RCCrawler.

krawl constantly under attack???:lmao: thats funny...you might wanna read more often...krawl and ted have been bashing CC every chance they can...

It comes down to there are only so many ways to cut delrin, or carbon fiber.

Its all personal preference.

CC did not steel anybodys design.....there is only so many ways to cut a chassis and they ALL do look simalar.

the constant bashing from a select few ytown guys is getting really old...I like krawl and ted but you guys should chill alittle...8)
cheers

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

exactly!

not sure what all the fuss is.

i am not really sure why any of the (insert nameof companyhere)feel
i offended them with anything i said.

I just can't help myself....i have been wanting to do another version of the beetlejuice but i figure that chassis has earned its keep and reputation for the last 2 years and spawned a whole revolution of look a likes....why change it.:lmao:

everything i stated in fact has happened

if i remember correctly there were some trying to accuse me of copying jakes car.

i have proven it is not. the people accusing me have not.

oh my!, that design was so 2010:roll:

looking at the two you can not, without a benefit of the doubt, deny their similarity in concept, and unique at the time , features.

i have left it alone...

but you guys keep coming in my thread trying to start shit. it is what it is and if you dont like it, well too bad.

i have not bashed anyone, i made a blanket statement and the only ones getting butthurt are ....well guess who.

if you are offended by the words posted in my thread about non-specific people then maybe you should not be in my thread constantly

getting back on my high horse now. NICE AVATAR:flipoff:

Jeremy I like your threads and I like seeing what you come up with and you offer great tech for guys who run y-town chassis....I'm just disappointed to see your constant bashing.....you know I'm not just talking about this thread:roll:
I'm sorry you feel the way you do...and I will not mud up your thread anymore.

well thanks for the compliment.

and sorry for your dissapointment, but assume mine, walking up to a comp line and not being able to decipher my chassis from another.. i can only handle so much flatery:shock:

if you knew me well enough, you would know i speak my mind weather you like it or not. if i dont like you will tell you to f**k off plain and simple

now, i have offered more insight on this board about my design and setups than almost anyone. i really do not have a problem with idea sharing, but when an entire concept is shared at the business level, it becomes a real issue.

what you say i just start cutting every manufactures chassis in carbon fiber and selling them? how do you think that would go over? probobly not near as easy as i let some off. i will continue to have and voice my opinion and if that hurts feelings, maybe certain individuals should change their tactics.

back to my thread.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Got my 3.5 today, thanks Jeremy! "thumbsup"

Now how soon before the cab is available?

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

for everyone that has pm'd me about the bodiless 3.5 and cab..

they will be available as soon as humanly possible. i will have pricing at that point as well.

orders/ preorders will be announced here. preorder will only be 1 week so i can keep up with demand.

the 3.5 lower section is already available. it is the same price as the secret agent 4.0. the cab section and doublers will be a modular addition for an addition cost.

thanks for the interest and sorry for the drama!

A little bashing here and there seems kind of light to me. It looks so much a like that an new guy on the board would have a hard time telling them apart. If Jeremy wanted to Im sure he could have gone to the site mods/owners and made a much bigger deal out of this.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Save the drama for your mamas:lmao: Once again, great work Jeremy"thumbsup" I'm gonna want one for sure, but I will gladly wait until you get the rush taken care of. I'm glad to be part of such a kick ass team, go Team Y-Town:mrgreen:

Later,
Farmer

Give me a break.......

Is there an actual written rule? I always assumed that it was just a "code of honor" between vendors to not take a persons idea and copy it.

When I had questions about people copying a product my interpretation was that if you do not have your product patented then STFU and move on. Some will honor the code, some will straight up copy you and tell you to eff off.

IMO it would be great to have something to go off of whether it be something written or, if there is a question between vendors, just make a post with a poll and let the people of RCC decide if the "copied" part should be allowed to be sold.

The problem with writing something down is the definition. By law, I would guess that CC chassis would not be in violation of the BJ chassis if it were patented. Whether or not its in violation of the "code of honor", well I dont think anything is written to clearly define this so that cannot be decided (the whole problem here). I would think it would be great if it was written. It would be saving Krawl and CC a lot of drama and stress right now.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Let's see some more action shots of that thing! It's a bad a$$ chassis and i want to see it do work!!

It also took me a while to realize why you had that two piece front/rear where the shocks mount, but then i got it.
