Kj's Jeep JK "Holy Grail"

Very very cool. I love seeing jeeps like this getting used and abused and then rebuilt. Excellent work man. And hope to see another build like this in the future![emoji1303]

It definitely gets used and abused. I try to run it every time I go out. It's in the the middle of a electronics upgrade. Going to go brush less to help over power the weight. Might try one of the Holmes 3500kv.

As much fun as this jeep I was, it just seemed under powered. So I used the electronics form it in my f250. The axles went to my Toyzuki bronco. And my buddy Rok had to have my wheels. So I've been gathering a shopping list. Finally placed the order about an hour before Rpp site wide sale. Gonna widen the stance and give it s little more power. I'm really looking forward to build this back this week. Hoping to have it ready by the 29th for a run at one of my favorite spots.

Oh yeah. Also finally found him. Now I just gotta find a way to fit lunchbox in here lol

I was thinking a lunchbox buggy build with him as a driver would be pretty sweet. Definitely be watching to see what it takes to get him to fit.

Front and rear axles are built. VP xr width curries with vvds, scale hubs and knuckles, over/under and incision spools, VP clamping hexes, titanium tie rod, scale brake rotor weights. Scale hardware throughout. I think I'm gonna swap to some black slw hubs, and I totally forgot to order a 3link / panhard mount for the axle.

Yay. More parts came in. 3300kv wp Holmes motor and BLE, 7950 and a bec 2.0. New mips and a new gcm transfer case. New titanium links, and a set of 2.2 omfs. Can't use the scallop rings I bought, but luckily I had a couple extra for options. Either these silver or some plain black omf rings. Leaning towards the silver. Now I need to get to work

Installed the 7950 BLE and Holmes stubby 3300kv. I think I'm gonna have to get a different bec. The 2.0 says it requires 2 spots on receiver and I don't want to had to run a 6 receiver just to run light s and winch. Thought about a y adapter... Idk. Anyways. I've got the stance low and wide and I love it.

Also said one plug should be fine since crawlers don't usually have high enough amp draw. Basically the two plugs is because one connector can't handle the full 15a.

Swapped out the 3300kv stubby for a puller pro. 2700kv I'm really happy with the motor. Perfect amount of wheel speed for the heavy jeep.
