Nice!!! Dont think Ive crawled any caves out there. That place has it out for me and Ive rarely been able to make it far without breaking or being extremely sick. I even went back out there a couple months ago just to hike with the wife and got sick as hell lol. Its got my number thats for sure...one day Im gonna hit it and hit it hard and end the bad juju!

Hooked up my heyok light controller. It's definitely bright on 3s. Still need to figure out which light kit I want to get for the headlights and taillights. Swapped to some .725 hubs and threw some VP knuckle weights on it for this weekend.

So I figure buy another almost complete rig and cut out all the build :lmao: So I'm building another new bright jeep. But this time it has a chassis and cage built by one of my favorite builders from a few years back ScaleReady. So many options were offered in my wanted add but this stood out, it was well built, with nice parts, most of which I would have done myself if I was piecing it together. So Much so that i didnt need the wheels and tires because i already had the same set waiting. I am super excited to get started on this and see where this Jeep will take me. I got it in today and tore right into it Mounting up the 100mm king shocks, made some link adjustments and lowered the body about 3/8 of an inch. Sits really nice now. Got some limiting straps on the way for it to limit some flew and keep it low. needs a couple more things and it will be ready to rock

I'm not positive. I got them in a trade advertised as VP kmcs. Maybe they are just painted over. Otherwise some Chinese knockoff. I use that wheel tire setup on my ifs scx10

Got to take out the Jeep for a little bit today. Crawled great till I broke the xvd shaft where the hex pin goes though. Guess I need to find something stronger. It really needs some scale accessories.

Finally got my batteries in today. Some Turnigy Graphene 3s 65-130c 3000mah that fit perfectly under the front seat. Also got in my little 3s battery for my lights. Don't plan on using it much so hopefully 370mah will last. Might be a little to small. Now I just need to make a battery tray and swap these over to deans.

This has been an eye sore for me since I got it. I understand that it had to be done to run 100mm kings with the reservoir still attached. It came with a little cover but it wasn't really feeling it.

I decided it needed something more. So I started this today. Still need to find someone to 3d print me some goodies for it but I think y'all get where I'm going. If not I'll make something out of styrene.

Hooked up some eagle eye headlights and a 2" light bar under the drop bed. It's pretty bright setup with the lightbar up front. Love the heyok controller and being able to cut it on and off with my 4pls.

Worked on the bed a little more. Decided to take a different route and put in a bigger box. Started off with a simple speaker from the dollar store, cut it up and rewired it. Mounted it up in a styrene box.

I got to take this out and beat on it today. It's such fun lil jeep. It's way to heavy so it makes everything a challenge. I need to get it on a scale, I may try to do that this week. Anyways, here's some pics from today.
