KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

Bomber ate its Tactic TSX55. First TSX55 I've had strip gears. I ordered a Winking DMC300 a couple weeks ago when Tower had them on their weekly deals page for 42 bucks. I'll get bec soldered in and Winking installed today and hopefully get some good runtime on it wherever we get together Saturday. Can see if it really acts like a 425oz servo. Impressive specs for the price. Red anodized case not ment for my bomber tho..... I see the Hitec 7950TH is on sale right now at Tower.

The RC Gear Shop Winking servos from Tower get a big thumbs up from me. Took bomber out today and its all the torque I need for crawling large creek rock. Finally used a different set of tires besides the kit KR2's, stuck Wraith's Flat Iron XL's on it and I don't see them coming off anytime soon. I'd like to take it back to SCT track now with new servo and Flat Iron's but getting hit by a 4wd sct is like getting hit by a train when you're not in a sct truck. I believe the Tekno that hit me last time was made of concrete.

Got a Trail Honcho body and bed off an RTR from RPP's salvage yard section. Stuck it on SCX ll and its finally starting to look like what im wanting. The smaller body is helping alot in tight places and I notice that me having the ability to see what the tires are doing much more is helping crawling.

Hey guys, I'm putting together a scaler. I'm looking to pick up some things. Having to start from scratch and wondering if anyone has any spare electronics laying around they would sell? I've got CC-01 and radio gear on the way.

Hey guys,
My name is Lee, live up in the North Kansas City/Claycomo area next to world's of fun. Not really new, been around lurking for awhile, gotta little build thread going in the scale forums. Never ran with anyone, but recently did some looking around and found KCRC. Chatted with a guy on facebook for a bit to get some info. Maybe I can work on my social skills and come to a meet next time one is scheduled. Been working on my K5 and need to test it out. Got a lot of homemade stuff on it, well not a lot. Let's say some. Making the K5 RC4WD body fit a SCX10 has been fun.

Anyway. Anyone know of any good places to drive around in the northland area? Been trying to think of some parks with wooded trails, but can't really think of anything. Got some weird warm weather this week and I've been off work so I'm bored.

Need to test this beast.

I was up at Fastlane Raceway last week racing indoor offroad and noticed a lot of crawlers being worked on and coming in and out the door. I was to focused on racing and going over new truck I never got around to talking to any of the guys. Is there a crawler course there also now?

Nice, I have parts arriving for my next build. I'm thinking a snowplow would be fun. Gotta get around to modding this radio for extra channels...
