KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

original post from today on KCRC's Face Book page - from Dinky RC

Mission Accomplished!

I'm pleased to announce that I've been issued the very first ever GBRCV permit thru Jackson County Parks and Rec.
(Ground Based Radio Controlled Vehicle)
The County has opted to include us into the same permit type that is issued to the R/C Model Aircraft and Boats.
Which are also required to have a $75/year full AMA Membership that includes the $2.5 mil. insurance coverage, that the County requires to use it's parks in this way.

So, if your already an AMA member, your halfway there!
If not, please follow the link below, to join Today!

https://www.modelaircraft.org/joinrenew.aspx

AMA membership card is required to be presented at time of purchase, as membership # is entered on the backside of your permit.

This organization does great things for all of us R/C enthusiast,
and covers almost all R/C activities one might get interested in.
Including R/C Cars, Rockets, Boats, and Aircraft.
We've been working on this permit for 8 long months now,
and the AMA inclusion is one of the things that was a big help in making this happen for us.

Permits are available at the Jackson County Parks Administration office at:
22807 SW Woods Chapel Rd.
Blue Springs, MO 64015

If you have any further questions, please reach out to us here, so that we may can build our own FAQ's thread.

Thanks,
Matt@DinkyRC

I had bomber on SCT track yesterday and managed to twist front driveshaft and explode rear. I ordered Mip 08103 for front and 14390 for rear. For you guys with Mip's in bombers did I get the right parts coming? From searching online I believe I did....

some of us are here.............the rest are on facebook
welcome to the area

Thank you Viper, I was hoping there would be more activity in this group. Im wanting to talk to people in my area who are into Moa Comp crawlers so I know what I looking for when I go to buy one.

Not really sure if there are many, if any, that are doing the comp crawlers around here really. That scene kind of died and scale has been where it's at. There's a bit of a resurgence but it's still not all that popular.

Maybe it will make a comeback, otherwise I'll be in it myself. Scale really doesnt excite me. I see you're in LS. I live is LS as well.

Id be willing to join you in the learning MOA setup experience. I've been eyeballing the bully kit. Im also one that the scale scene isnt my thing. I dont have interior in anything.

Mip's showed up today and those part #'s are good. For less than $50 to the door your bomber can have Mip driveshafts with 08103 and 14390.
