KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

Is there any place around eastern jackson county to run at that is all rocks ,because this time of year it's all muddy. I was thinking of trying lake jacomo spillway into blue springs lake. Any other options?

If you go there you'll have to be very sneaky. They will boot you at first sight.

Any Jackson county park location where a ranger see's you, you will be instructed to leave. As you are finding, unless it's man made, you aren't going to find an all rock area that you will have good access to.

Thanks for the heads up Harley. I live right by landahl park and was with the group that got booted out on jan 19. I sneak in there all the time but it's just way to muddy this time of year and I don't want to do anything to the trails. Hopefully we can get in with jackson county parks and let them know these crawlers don't leave any footprints to damage the trails. Just have cabin fever and want to get out and play!!!

I am gonna checkout the rc swap & shop at John Knox Villiage. And run over to the mill after that. Airplane stuff mostly all there is at swap& shop.

Had a great time at Watts Mill. Lost a mamba max pro esc. Also picked up a nice Ultimate biplane at the swap & shop super cheap. All in all a good day. :-)

I've been off all week and have spent the last 3 days at landahl park trying to get my ax10 deadbolt dialed in. The crawler side of the hobby is very new to me and I'm really enjoying this truck. Just wanted to post up and look forward to running with the group again!!

So it is SNOWING. Going to go play RC Trucks tomorrow at 15608 Fairchild Drive Kansas City, MO. There is a sick hill with jumps and will be packed down from sleds. This is for FAST and 4x4. If you're interested in meeting up let me know so we can agree on a time!

I just want to see if the bouncer can make it over the course without breaking...or, at over 13lbs, if it doesn't just break the rocks.

No idea what it's made of. I bought it as is and it weighs a ton. It's definitely solid rod, not tubing and pretty thick.

Hey Chris, way off topic here, but what kind of shooting do you do? IDPA from the looks of your avatar? I am looking to get more into some distance shooting(not competitive) but my goal is to break 1000yds by end of summer this year.
