KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

the only thing i have to say about it is that if you plan on competing, i would save until you can build up a nice MOA rig. i was going to start with sportsman, but i knew i wouldn't be able to afford both so i started with 2.2 and i am glad i did, even though i am sure i will place dead last for a while :lmao: just something to consider if you're on a budget and think you want to start competing "thumbsup" and i would agree, used is the way to go!!

I feel the need to chime in on this as well,

The AX10 is gonna be your safest bet stating out. You can come out and comp with it and see how you like it, If comp isnt your thing it's not a huge jump to turn it into a scaler. A MOA is really only good for one thing...comping :)

I started with an AX10. I trail crawled with it for 2 years before I went to my first comp. Soon after I owned an XR10 because I caught the comp bug bad.

Even if you don't make the jump to 2.2 the sportsman class is extremely fun. I see it being one of the more competitive classes next year. I know my AX10 is tooling up for battle already

No matter how you get involved we are glad to have you. These are a bunch of fun loving guys who leave their attitudes at home. We all enjoy all aspects of crawling :)

welp as of now I am gonna be running a wraith, might not be the best crawler but Im sure I will have a blast ripping and bashing, now I got to dial in the redcat and we shall be set!

The Wraiths are a blast. We have a good group of them here and bashing them together has been a riot. I'm sure we'll do it a bunch next year as well.

Hobby Partz has some smoking deals on batteries and chargers. Plus they are located here in the US.

Thunder AC6 Smart LiPo Balance Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Lipo/ 1-15 Nimh + USB to PC Software

Been using this charger for 2 years w/o issue.

Also, the GenAce batteries are awesome!

If you do order from Hobby King, check out their US warehouse."thumbsup"

I'll check into it. That was the charger I was looking into there I think. Price is higher, but hopefully shipping costs will average it out.

Thanks Joe.

Hey Joe, are the sky lipo's any good? Or has anyone used any? they are pretty cheap, and I am trying to get to fifty dollars to get free shipping.

Anybody interested in this?
