Interest in Rally?

This is one of the hardest threads to keep track of...I post and hit enter, then I have to go back and read the last 5 posts that were entered while I was typing!
:ror: No doubt.
If I could buy an AWD 305 hp Turbocharged Fiesta I just would. I guess I have to buy a Raptor. KB has a killer flat black one.
Nah, keep the STI or sell it to me cheap........before Casey drives it.:ror:
Very tempting.
I know huh.......

R2Hobbies has a couple bodies that would be cool:

I like the last Impreza, but it's only 250mm wheelbase and 190 wide. (The RS4 is 263mm and 200mm) I guess I can get the RS4 Rally 190mm conversion and flip the rear arms forward to get it to those dimensions...

Their pre-painted bodies are cool, and inexpensive too, but they typically have off-brand decals like "SUBAPU" and "MOTVL" and "DFNSO" etc. I guess you can always just paint the outside and toss your own decals on. Downside is it is coming from overseas so shipping is not quick.

The Ford Escort for $277 is sweet! You should jump on that Chris before I do!

Jeff down here at Colpar has one on a TA02 in the glass case, it is really cool looking.

Colpar also has ford Focus rally wheels, Tamiya rally block tires and another DF03RA on the shelf.

Need some more? I can keep going.

While I love those bodies and have been drooling over them in the Tamiya catalog. I just can't see spending more than $25 for something than is going to be cannon fodder for the [HOONIGAN]s. :ror:

If I had the disposable money I'd buy the Cosworth Escort in a minute, paint it, and put it on display. "thumbsup"

So you will never be buying a Tamiya body then? I spend about 50 per body.

I just don't see paying hundreds of dollars for lexan.. Especially 80's bodys which every one ive ever had was brittle as hell...

I totally agree I am too hard on the car for something like that. I only get a month or two out of each body.:ror:

Not for a while yet, but never say never though. I want the 2008 body but I can't justify spending that right now. I'll be ordering a 2004 HPI body I guess.

Trying to figure out a paint that will stick to the outside so I can match it to the Subie. What about Tamiya plastic paint?

I have heard that the Krylon fusion stuff works great, but you may want to look around a bit to make sure.

I've been thinking about adding a rally section to the site, what do you guys think?

Duh!:flipoff: Can I drive it one last time before you do sell it though8)

I still haven't gotten my first chance, I think Rodney is scarred of Hammertime!

Dibs on the STI.

I think Tanner is a bit of a douche.

You don't like Tanner, you don't like Pastrana, but you love Block?

Damn do you have a thing for guys that actually know how to drive?
