Im going to cook my tires then some fish so I get all kinds of smells goin on.lol

boiling didnt work for me at all, Im going to bake them.. what seasoning should I use.:lmao: If baking dont work Im going with the adapters so I may need some part #s

thanks for the tips

Man, I dont even mess with this glue crap anymore. Is there a reason that you have to remove the tire from the wheel?

I mean isnt it easier to just cut off the tire and dremel off the rest and apply a new tire?/

Ohh I see, But still to me it just makes more sense to buy a new set of tires and take off the exsisting rubber.

I mean I have heard Boiling works, but only with certain CA's

But then again you rish harm to the plastic rim in boiling.

I cant afford another set of tires. Im broke for awhile. I have 3 kids and they get all my money. Im just trying to get these fixed the way I want them. Next time I buy tires Im not buying premounted set, its a big ol pain in my arse. I have learned the hard way...lol I am almost done cookin fish so Im goin to throw a tire in the oven in about 10min. I will let you all know how it goes.

Glued tires suck!!!!

I have had no luck.

Will these work for me?? I need to do something. My fingers hurt...lol

thanks

No !!!!!

Wheel hubs wont work unless you have CVD's

The wheel nut wont fit down into the Blue Hub either

You should take and excato knife (Very Sharp) and cut as close as you can
the rubber then I will send you some narrowed wheels that you can glue down to the wheel.............

Again,..... cut as close to the wheel as you can get.........take your time

do one and take a picture to show me

Then I will be able to tell if you can re-glue it back to a narrowed wheel I send you

Regards Rick

Thanks Rick. I will see what I can do. If I get the tires off and still in good shape I should be able to narrow the wheels. You have helped me so much I dont feel right having you just send me wheels. I will see what I can do and the we can go from there..

Thanks for all your help and you just need to let me know if I can help you with anything.

Im actually starting to gain intest in this super thing because of Superdave. the more I talk to him about things, the more I want to do it.

I cut into the tires a little just to see what I was getting into. I think that the whole beed ot the tire is glued in. I think Im going to wait and just use them the way they are for mock up and getting it running. In my next round of upgrades and changes I think I will look into some new tires and wheels. Maybe I can find some used ones that are nice or some new ones for a good price. Im going on with the build as soon as I get some more parts in the mail.

thanks

Well..........you could do that !!

Or mail them to me and I'll see what I can do for you

the cool thing about tires is you can cut the hell out of them
Then glue them back together and hardly tell where the seems are ;-)

Let me know

Regards Rick

Cool.. What glue do you use to put the tires back together. I will give it a go since I want to learn and not have it done for me..If I break/ruin it I cant blame anyone else for it..lol

thanks

Many like to use BSI thin CA to stitch the tires together, and then run a bead of the BSI rubberized IC-2000 on the back side. I've used them and they work good.

So I was working today and I cant get my mind off this tire thing. Is it ok if I just cut around the beed of the tire and then after fixin the wheels I could just glue them back together there? I could mark the tire to get them lined up with the cut line when I go to glue them back on.. I think this might work best if I cant get the beed out.

thanks"thumbsup"

Ok so I got 1 tire cut off and I think I did a good job. There isnt much rubber missing from the tire and the pop right back into the wheel. Not as bad as I thought, 1 hour 1 tire and now Im going to the lhh to get some ca glue and a better razor knife or different blades so I can do the next 3 easier. I guess I was just more scared to ruin them than anything but once into it I got er done.

thanks again everyone for the help
