I need a 2mm driver

I have the MIP 1/4" dirve bits and today I had my 2mm bit in my cordless driver and knocked it off the bench. It landed on the concrete on the tip of the driver and the driver shattered into three broken pieces. No wonder they work so well without wearing out. I ordered a replacement 2mm from MIP.

I have now gone through 3 additional drivers and so far none of them have been quite exactly right. All 3 have had a nice tight fit and they've all held up beautifully. The cons are in comfort. I think perhaps the way I use them isn't "normal" so that might explain why none of the designs are exactly what I want.

Basically with these small screws going (and especially cutting for the first time) into plastic, I've found that putting a moderate amount of pressure with the palm / heel of my hand along central axis of the driver can really help prevent stripping. Basically instead of letting those tiny threads produce all of the cutting "thrust" you help it along. Using this method I've made it through 3 full assembly / disassemblies of a TRX4 and 3 for my Element without stripping any screws, so I'll probably stick with it "thumbsup"

First I bought that Arromax. It was nice, light, and well balanced. But it lacked a bearing in the handle, so I quickly wore a sore spot in my hand.

Next I tried the the Protek "TruTorque SL" (https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek...-hex-driver-2.0mm-ptk-8402/p-qezqtqwa6zqxactz). This one is almost perfect, but it's bearing isn't very smooth and the cap itself is too small. The shallow cap combined with the knurled handle results in a nice grinding / abrading effect on the hand. Not terrible, just sort of annoying - otherwise I was very happy with this.

Lastly came the vanquish drivers. It took a while for me to bite on these because it's the whole set and they aren't cheap. These are almost perfect. While they're heavier than the others, they're very nicely balanced. The handles are smooth, but so far i've not had any issues with grip. I like everything about these with one exception - the bearing cap is actually concave on the end. This has the effect of making a nice sharp ring of metal that, after a night of use, definitely makes a sore spot on my hand. I can work around it, but it's there. Unfortunate because if these were convex (or even flat) they'd be my hands down favorite.

I realize some of the criticisms are a bit nit-picky, but thought I'd pass them along."thumbsup"
