Holmes Hobbies: REVOLVER 540 L CLASSIC!

Yea it’s a bit noisey, at lower rpm its fine, but at higher rpm it does scream a bit, it just like the old HH vid of John with his TRX with the standard revolver and sidewinder

I have a Revolver Classic 1950KV paired with Copperhead 10; I also own a SideWinder 4, and it's quite noisier than Copperhead 10 (with the same Revolver Classic, obviously)!

Nice!

How does the Copperhead do with a revolver in terms of noise? I assume its pretty loud like the SW4 is.

I had two different Copperheads and they run the Revolver just like the SW4 but the copperheads both only run for about 10 minutes and then just stop working.

My Copperhead works just fine so far, probably had 12 hours run time now and it’s been faultless

It is disheartening hearing of some having issues with the Copperhead esc. I spent a few hours at the local track/crawler course today. Ran a few packs through one of my rigs with a Copperhead/Holmes Puller Pro 2200 V2 without a hiccup. Combo has been savage!

Here's the thread discussing this issue: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/electronics/626406-copperhead-cutting-out.html

Its honestly not an absolute deal breaker because it never cuts out when I'm driving it only happens when parked, usually just at the start of an outing then its fine the rest of the day. It would be nice if it were dead reliable though.

How can that be acceptable? For me it happens when I stop, even for a second while I am just taking a look at where I am going.

I could have worded that better, for me I've kind of learned to accepted it. It sounds like yours is acting up more than mine.

My first one I only got a couple batteries through it checking it out and the warranty replacement even less than I sold it to somebody how was very aware of the issues with it. Every time I used it if failed so I just didn't use it much and dumped it.
