Hittman's Dlux Berg Build

The SUDU pro chassis is great,,,
I did run a reptile the hole 2014 season and I allready like the SUDU mutch more,,
it is lower and I have alittle better axels on the SUDU chassis,,dlux superlites,,
and on my reptile I did run xr10 axels,,
I will never sell the xr10 reptile because I love to jump from rock to rock with the reptile chassis..
GO DRAVTECH AND TEAM HOLMES HOBBIES!!!!!

Been awhile!

Had a comp back on the 11th.. Stupid tough courses.. The scores reflect that quite well. Like I said in my sporty thread, at that location there is no room for mistakes, and absolutely no room to correct any mistakes. Still was able to pull of 1st thou.

Here were the scores:

And then we had a comp yesterday..

It went much better:mrgreen:

We had two new pro drivers! Awesome addition to the club. Both guys drove great for it being their first comp.

As far as my rig goes, it is still feeling great. It does need some work thou.. Rear lower links are a bit scrunched up.. 12" wb on one side, 12.25" on the other.. And it's been like that for the last two comps. Should have some parts coming soon for this rig as well.. I will update as I get stuff in.

Thank you sir! Glad to see you back on the site and building again. Maybe you will start wrenching on the berg again??

Thanks man, it is great to be back! As far as the berg goes, not right now. But certainly not for a lack of wanting. It is purely a financial thing keeping me out of comp crawling. The rig I could swing, the travel expenses even for local comps is just not an option until my son is into kindergarten and I'm no longer paying full time daycare plus the added expense of owning a home vs renting a shoebox of a condo.

Slowly but surely. Good to hear.

I waited a good period of time for them as well..
But my boy needed them... And I can't run 2 sets at once.. ;)

Yessir. And I appreciate it. I really like this current tire combo I have, on both rigs.

Awesome to hear! I have a little tire combo I'm going to be trying out this coming season as well! ;)
It's amazing what can be done when a guy Finally picks up some scissors and tire glue... Lol..

I still have some of the sweetest 4.2" rovers out there! I appreciate that.. :)

Had our 8th comp of the season this past Sunday. Went well. Was at the same place where we had our first comp (the comp where I wasn't running any weights), so it was a nice comparison. I noticed places where the weight definitely helped, and where it hurt. Tires get sucked into holes a lot easier when all that weight is down there.

First course was rough, I finished the second course with :01 seconds on the clock, but third course turned out nicely. First time we have ever ran more than two bonus gates on a course,, added another nice time management factor in there.

Here were the scores:

seems like a great place to run a comp,,,
I have sendt some PM`s to E.Y about some skinny rovers but he only said that he had to catch up the waiting list before he could make me some tires..
but I will send him a new PM to ask if he wont write me up on that waiting list...

hello,,I wonder if you had any troubble with the space for the shock in the front on the gearcase side??
my 3.5" velvet coated kyosho shock is not able to mount on the innside off the linkmount,,and I see all the others buildtreads that you and they have managed to get the shock mounted on the innside..
