Ground up Honcho build

Just have a question about the D60 axle's.. can you run the stock front upper 3 link setup with them? or are you forced to go 4 link or the Panhard setup?

While I am not sure I do not think you could, the brackets that come with the axle do not look like they are conducive to mounting the factory 3 link. If anything the 4 link would probably be easier to set up than the Panhard bar, but for comps you get points for the cms setup. If you like to go through streams when you are trailing the cms also keeps the servo a little bit further away from getting wet.

Any clearance issues with the C.M.S.? At full flex?

None at all, with the TSS frame I still have a lot of room before I would have any interference issues. Again, if I were to guess I do not think you would have any issues with the stock frame either. I have actally made a bracket out of cf to raise the Panhard mount on the axle in order to get the Panhard bar and steering link to be parallel and still have no issues. This would probably not have been necessary however if I had used the stock frame.

As a side note the Spektrum S6280 servo is very impressive so far. It is dead silent, has a lot of torque, and is very, very fast. The plug in wire harness is also very cool. I do not know if any of you have had to fight the wire harness before while installing a servo due to tight confines, but it is neat to drop the bare servo in the hole with no interference and then plug the wire harness in once the servo is in place. Something I never would have thought of but pretty handy once you use it.

This Spektrum servo you mentioned is the first time I have heard of it...pretty impressive specifications. After you get some hours on this servo out in the trails, I would like to hear what you think of it.

Sorry about late responce, I had two week field training with army.

The spektrum servo is holding up great. It is silent, very fast and has great toque. I will absolutely use them again.
