Grabbed a Poison Spyder for my first crawler.

Yes it was a great spot for sure. We ended up having quite a few breakdowns so we didn't even make it up to the waterfalls where the group went last trip. The actual walking trail is quite difficult in some spots so we had a blast just running back uphill to the parking lot. I could have fun there for days in all the washouts and runoff areas.

Had a chance to get out last weekend for another trail at the same park. We happened to find a little mud hole on the way up. Of course we had to stir it up.

Here is a couple video clips from the fun. I think I may need to add a propeller.:ror:

Great videos! I just watched every one of them. I wasn't planning on waterproofing my new PS wraith but after watching your vids I might have to. Awesome!

Got some new parts this week. Got a set of the shift hubs from Brian and some axial universals and junfac driveshafts from Tcs. I put the universals in tonight. Nice improvement on steering angle for sure.

Yeah I could probably do that. I'm going to build a little jig at my work this week for making better bends. The roll bar bend was pretty easy so there aren't many marks on it. The steering link was much tougher with multiple bends so I had to really grab it hard with the tool I was using. Im using 1/4" solid aluminum cause we have lots of it at work :-) With a little practice I want to do an aluminum welded cage of some sort. Im just getting in this part of the rc world.

How did you cut the threads on the 1/4" solid aluminum. I wanted to use 1/4" on mine but instead had to use 3/16". I'm having to use a 8-32 manual die and couldn't get it to cut threads onto the 1/4".
