1) Give it to her. She'll never use 16gig worth of chit.

nope...she won't. Doesn't have a real camera.

2) App works just fine and more updates comin'.

Good. Guess I need to downoad it then. Haven't yet used my wifi backpack. Hell, haven't used my GP in a while.

3) Got a Hero1 and Hero2. Still like to use them too. Just depends what you're trying to do.

Would probalby be more 1:1 wheelin' than anything else. Maybe some micro scale vids, too.

4) You can always load up you PC hard drive with stuff.

Got a 750GB internal and 160GB external. I think I got room.

5) Keep it and do the math. They all do the job.

That's what Google's retail price on the wifi only version is, too. Same for Gamestop, Wally World, etc. Bought my 16GB at Gamestop, although they're certainly not my favorite company to do business with having worked at the corporate office myself a few years back. They were the only place locally that had them in stock the day I was looking to purchase, though. And they have a protection plan similar to Best Buy.

yes , I've seen the specs on all of the models , I have a hero1 and a hero2 , use in both the back pac and lcd ...
can't see no difference between hero1 and hero3 white , the hero2 and hero3 silver are the same also ... the new stuff comes only in the hero3 black

If you've got a good set of headphones, they put the sound from the one on the left to the left ear and from the right, to the right ear.

Maybe I'm blind, but I really didn't notice much difference other than the fact that the 3 was a bit darker.

IMO, the colors were a lot crisper and images were sharper on the 3. There is also a LOT less miscellaneous noise from the 3....

If you want good sound quality with the GoPro you will need to purchase one of these. There are fakes on the market and not sure how good the sound quality is on them.
