I have concerns too about availability of parts for the R1. I am desperately seeking the Hard Red Servo Saver steering link (J44032R), also the tubular Bumper (GM51125S). Just went to buy the Aluminum Servo Plate (GM51107S) and that seems unobtainable now too. I think the Servo Saver is weird because it fits just about every model and is so damn neat...anybody out there have one that I could purchase for a ridiculously inflated price (two even!!!)??????

The tubular Bumper (GM51125S) has been discontinued according to the Junfaq website. I was told that the servo saver and the servo plate was on back order but was not given an ETA.

I finally broke down and just made a battery and servo mount for the front axle. This is getting ridiculous. I'm upgrading to an Axial transmission with vanquish dig; I may as well do the axles while I'm at it. Then maybe I'll be able to find parts.

I think that will be my next mod, a set of wraith axles on the R1. When something break, I like the idea of going to the LHS with a 90% chance they will have the replacement parts.

The portals are nice, but will get more expensive in the long run to maintain.
