You're exactly right. Squirrels will get in your attic and shit and piss all in your insulation and contaminate your home instead. Or chew through the wiring and burn it down for you. Squirrels are vile little creatures, and just fluffier disease carrying rodents. Around here, they're also referred to as chicken 'o the tree. I've never ate one, don't think I could bring myself to do it either.

I’ve got an uncle that loves squirrels to eat. He’ll get a feeder like this and start camping on them from the porch. When I was younger and living at home I remember him asking everyone at a family gathering who was overpopulated. He would set up shop at family members homes and knock them down. Clean and freeze what he couldn’t eat at that time for later.

I knew there had to be some video of it before it crashed! It looks like he set her down where he could, but it wasn't the smoothest of landings. I guess that's what threw him into the Jersey barrier and made it start on fire.

I think it was Kinja or one of those scummy websites making this a political issue saying, basically, saying good for the guy for crashing since it was a Nazi plane. And the commenters were even worse.

the weird part is its not a German plane, its an American AT-6 "Texan" painted in Luftwaffe colors. im sure it participates in the reenactments where german planes are harder to come by here.

You made me think of the final dogfight scene in "Top Gun" where they face off against those F-5 "Migs". Even as a teenager, I thought the scene was visually silly.
