Flysky GT3B Hack PSX's Custom Firmware 0.61 How to hack? 8 channel 4-wheel steering Dual ESC Mixing
This video will show you the step by step of installing the custom firmware into your GT3B Transmitter.
This mod had been tried on Flysky GT3B and Hobbyking GT3B, and should work with the Eurgle version of the GT3B as well, cos essentially, they are all the same radio...
Had been wanting to do this quite some time back, and finally had time to sit down and play around with it.
You may ask, why do you want to go for the custom firmware?
Because it'll maximize the full potential of the low cost transmitter!
Below are some of the new features that the custom firmware will add on...
Some features include
--------------------------------------------
3 - 8 Channels
Trim
Sub-trim (All channels)
EPA's (All channels)
Adjustable Backlight timer
Inactivity Alarm
63 Model Memory
Calibration Menu
ST and TH Dead Zone
Channel Speed (All Channels)
Dual ESC Mixing
4WS Mixing
Multi Position Switches
Key Mapping (Map the keys on the radio to control different channels)
What will you need for the firmware upgrade?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
- Simple tools to remove the screws
- Soldering iron and some basic soldering skills
- 4pin header pins
- 4-wire cable with 4pin servo type connectors on both sides
- STM8S programmer - costs around S$15 or so, can't really remember
- USB Cable
ST Visual Programmer download - STVP - STMicroelectronics
Firmware download - https://github.com/semerad/gt3b/tree/master/Releases
The instructions in the video should be quite straight forward...
Hope it helped you.
